On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” Rep. Michael Waltz (R-FL) stated that Secretary of State Pete Buttigieg hasn’t had enough involvement in trying to avert a potential rail strike, which, along with rising diesel costs, “will be a one-two shot to an already struggling economy.”
Waltz said that in addition to the cost of gas spiking if there’s a rail strike, “the cost of diesel is through the roof as well. You know, the average trucker used to spend 300, $400 to fill up his rig. Now, he’s spending over $1,000, and this will be a one-two shot to an already struggling economy. Again, we’ll see what they get done. And by the way, Steve, where’s Buttigieg on this, our vaunted Secretary of Transportation that should be fixing this problem? Remember, we had the ports problem just last year. So, they’re finding ways to continue to hurt our economy.”

Unfortunately, I hear when he is in his "moooo-ttigieg" moo-d, he gets on all fours and feeds his kid "udder style". Like a cow. But don't quote me on that.

The only reason he was appointed to Brandon’s Cabinet is because he is gay. Yes, I know, he claimed to ‘like trains’, but nothing in his background would lead anyone to believe that he would be qualified to head up the Department of Transportation. Perhaps whoever is really running the show figured that D.O.T. isn’t really that important and how badly could he mess things up? After all, he was on ‘paternity leave’ for two months and no one noticed.
Then came the a series of crises involving transportation—infant formula, ships backed up for weeks off of the west coast, and now the prospect of a rail strike. None of this has been or will be Buttigieg’s fault—what are you, homophobic? And don’t even think of blaming Brandon either!
Perhaps the dems can pass emergency legislation during the lame-duck session to nationalize the rail industry as well as outlawing semi-automatic firearms.
