A handful of Senate Republicans reportedly started talks with illegal aliens enrolled in and eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program as House and Senate Democrats, along with corporate special interest allies, hope to pass an amnesty in the lame-duck Congress.
This week, DACA illegal aliens and open borders activists descended on Washington, DC, in their efforts to lobby ten Senate Republicans to join Democrats in passing an amnesty — before the GOP takes control of the House — that would secure them green cards and, eventually, naturalized American citizenship.

Question: I assume this is a cynical ploy to get some Latinx votes for themselves but are the DACA types and their families actually going to peel off for the GOP? Black people stay around 90-98% Dem in local and national elections no matter how much groveling is done for them by the GOP. And note, GOP, the base gets less likely to go out to vote.
And we continue to re-elect them.

In all fairness it’s necessary. We aborted the native generation. We need to import ine now to fund government. I’m just telling you what they won’t. That’s why Mayorkas can say “the Border is secure”. According to discrete policy, the plan is secure and proceeding nicely. No it is not necessary. That way lies our ruin. Better to have family friendly policies to encourage and sustain healthy families. Give huge tax breaks to make it more affordable. The cost of raising children drives families to have fewer of them.
No I mean necessary from a political corner they boxed themselves into over the past 40 years. I’m not disputing your remedy, but they will not reckon with the issue or themselves. It’s just easier to relocate 80 million from open borders than to correct their mistakes.
