Trump Launches Attack Blaming Mitch McConnell, Calls His Wife “Coco Chow”
The Free Press -- Tampa ^ | November 13, 2022 | Mike Jenkins

Posted on 11/13/2022 3:24:52 PM PST by karpov

Earlier this month, former President Trump said that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) should be impeached if he backs a plan for the debt ceiling to be eliminated over fears that House Republicans could cause the U.S. to default on the nation’s credit.

When asked by conservative radio host John Fredericks about chatter surrounding the possibility of Congress effectively eliminating the debt limit, the former president lambasted the idea.

On Sunday, following the Democrat’s win and maintaining Senate control, Trump went on the attack.

“It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake,” Trump said Sunday. “Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake. He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow.”

With Democrats maintaining Senate control, this keeps the path open for Biden to have his judicial and administrative appointments confirmed, even if the Republicans take the House majority.

Control of the US House still hangs in the balance and may not be determined for some time with ballots left to be counted in closely contested races in California, as well as other states.

On Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a press conference, “The race is now called in Arizona and Nevada. Democrats will have a majority in the Senate and I will once again be Majority Leader. This election is a victory. A victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda for America, and for the American people, There are three things that helped the Senate secure the majority. One, our terrific candidates, two, our agenda and our accomplishments and three the American people rejected, the anti-democratic extremist MAGA Republicans.”

> He won the nomination in 2016 by destroying all the rival candidates (none of whom would have been able to win the general election)—a lot of it by name-calling. <

Right. Such behavior is expected during a primary season. But it’s very, very off-putting otherwise.

Trump’s base might be energized by all this. But those folks are already firmly in the Trump camp. It’s those squishy folks in the middle who are dismayed by Trump’s recent comments. I know a lot of those folks. You probably do, too.

Trump is losing them, those folks in the middle.

So, they disregarded everything Trump said and decided that was what they should zero in on? Who writes this stuff, ex employees of TMZ?

Patton was a man who had to win actual fighting wars. He was terrific. His mouth didn’t matter much in the field.

Trump is the same as always. Remember the complaints about ‘mean tweets’? Trump hasn’t changed, others perceptions or opinions have. They don’t like ‘mean tweets’ anymore.

Could be, but she would be spying for Taiwan. Read her bio and her parents bios.

Thank God. If I had to keep looking at that fat drunken fool I don’t know what I’d do!

O’Neill is overrated as far as “how easy he made it” for Reagan who had Congress mostly against him but not always, while Trump frittered away Congress altogether in a shorter time.

He sounds like someone very mad at the people who have absolutely destroyed the country.

Bingo? And quite understandable.

The dems, Rino's and anti-MAGA forces tried to get him in a corner before the election, during his term in office and now during the years since, and they are expanding their efforts via the court system. He was gang-blocked at every turn, even by his own team members and yet he accomplished some great things for our nation.

He has been on the ropes for more than 6 years and has every right to appear angry and frustrated. Our nation reasonably appears to be near a tipping point, and he can see it no doubt better than any of us.

Someone else mentioned maybe his age is starting to catch up. Which is exactly the biggest thing to fear about putting in Trump.

Done some great things but he hasn’t done one thing alone as so many seem to think. He has a VERY, VERY, VERY supportive legislature that is just as responsible for what is going on in Florida.

But he fixed a road in 7.5 hours by simply willing it. /s

Trump will be the candidate in 2024. You don’t have to vote for him.

This is true. It was an olive branch but in typical Washington style the completely devoid of a conscience McConnell didn’t let that kindness stop him from repeatedly stabbing Trump in the back.
