Washington State Republican U.S. Senate candidate Tiffany Smiley has taken the lead over 30-year incumbent Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA), according to polling. The poll, conducted November 3-5, shows Smiley with a 0.4 percent lead over Murray, sitting at 47.4 percent and 47 percent, respectively. While Smiley has gained momentum, closing a significant gap in the deep blue state of Washington, Murray’s unpopularity has increased to 50 percent, while her favorable rating is 44 percent — a net unfavorability increase from three to six points since October.

Patty was the MOM in Tennis Shoes when she ran.
Smiley takes lead?
Does that count the 1.5 million new voters who registered in King County (Seattle) on Monday morning?
Here is an article on King County early voting this year:

My view is that the low numbers reflect Democratic lack of enthusiasm for their candidates—which polling numbers confirm.
Final point—this race is winnable—the cheat is real—but finite.
I love smiley !
Read post 54—we know what the real numbers are—no more magical thinking.
Washington also allows non-citizens to vote. They are forbidden to even check.
Oh yes - we are all familiar with King County, Washington even if we’ve never been anywhere near this state. Infamous for its ability to “find” more boxes of votes...several times if necessary.
The “Mom in Tennis Sneakers” has become a career DC insider who long ago ceased to give a crap about Washington State.
30 YEARS of NOTHING!
Hey I hope so, but you would have to catch Washington ballot harvesters asleep at the wheel. Maybe so, but I'm beginning to sense the MSM is pushing a 56-seat scenario so they can try to mock a 54-seat win and do anything to explain away this red tsunami just. exactly. like. they. tried. in. 2010.
I am not sure that is true. Granted my only source is Liberal Hivemind on YouTube, but he says that D early voting is lower than usual. Hope he is right.
I said “final point” but I lied. :-)
Washington State cheating is finite partially because of the traditionally high turnout—even in off year elections.
Back East our big cities have very low turnout in the inner city districts so with same day registration they can create a crazy number of “fake” votes at the Democratic-controlled precinct.
That is how the deed was done in the 2021 governor’s race in New Jersey. Low turnout in the ghetto—fake lots of votes in Newark and Paterson and Jersey City and voila—Democratic governor survives.
The details matter folks—let us pay attention to those.
See post 63 for the numbers on this year’s King County early voting—it is well below comparable years at this time.
I am pretty sure that no republican has won a statewide race in WA since they went to mail-in ballots so I am not going to get too excited and hope to be pleasantly surprised.
Smiley is a great candidate with a great story, charm, and a good platform on issues. She is not a fire-breather, but she does have a great aura of common sense and that is more appealing in WA to a wider number of voters.
Murray is an unremarkable senator who lacks charisma or any record of achievement despite her long tenure in the senate.
Polling looks good, but I go back to point 1 above.
“Washington also allows non-citizens to vote. They are forbidden to even check.”
Yep. Washington state uses the honor system and the Democrats cheat like hell.
Holy moly. Irish Setter face might just lose. I doubt that the fraud machine was ramped up in this race.
Hmm...this gives me pause - often these polls do accurately portray the amount of support of the candidate they support but understate that of the opponent. 47.4% probably is accurate for Smiley.
Here's hoping, though.
“I want to be optimistic - but so much fraud in Kings County”
Yep, and Dino Rossi is available for comment.
Good info. Thx.
We must expand the lead beyond the cheat!
Nothing would make me happier, especially since I like Smiley.
