Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) leads Republican challenger Tudor Dixon by about 9 points in her bid for reelection, according to a new poll.
The poll from the Detroit-based NBC affiliate WDIV and The Detroit News found that 51.7 percent of likely voters support Whitmer and 43.1 percent support Dixon.
The race has narrowed since September, when some polls were showing Whitmer leading by double digits and as much as 17 points.
The latest poll showed Whitmer receiving support from Independents and even some Republicans.
She received support from more than 57 percent of independents, while only 30 percent support Dixon.

This poll shows Whitmer getting about 70% of independents, and 20-something percent of Republican “leaners.” Other polls show her getting like 30% of independents and 1% of leaners.

GOP New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu told NBC’s Chuck Todd when he repeatedly asked about Republican “election deniers” running for office: “You’re in a bubble, man.”
“You are in a bubble if you think anybody’s talking about what happened in 2020 or talking about Mar-a-Lago and all that,” Sununu said. “People are talking about what is happening in their pocketbooks every single day when they have to buy groceries or fill up gas.”
“It kind of has baffled me through this whole campaign season, the fact that Democrats keep pushing this stuff and talking about things that aren’t really what voters want to hear about.”

There’s a reason why they call them “Surveys” instead of actual legitimate polls. Surveys are culled, hand-picked answers to questions they’ve likely asked online and technically can’t be construed as legitimate polling without bias.
In short? Complete bullshit.
