look at the timing of this... they do not expect trump to testify becose the election .The jan 6th committe will be disbanded asfter the election....dont no if this is wise but I would consider not fighting the supena and insisting that it be heard befor the election....this would make them all freak out becouse they are not prepared for this. like I said I dont know how wise this is and it probably is a bad idea.

The House rules allow for the Speaker of the House to create special "select" committees. It is customary, but not by rule, to allow the minority leader to appoint the minority members, but the rules for these special committees allow the Speaker to have the final say.
In this case Pelosi was exercising raw partisan power here, because McCarthy appointed Jim Jordan to the committee. Pelosi knew that Jordan would be a strong opponent of the tactics that Pelosi was setting up this committee to perform. To ensure her wishes, Pelosi rejected McCarthy's nominees and she named the Republican members herself, grossly against custom by not against the rules.
So, calling this committee illegitimate is a partisan political play, but not a Constitutional one.

Take the fifth on TV in front of this committee, while touting your accomplishments as POTUS 45 and contrasting them with ROTUS46 and making jokes about the latter. Let Nanshy bang her gavel and shout at him, while he makes fun of her. They actually invited him to their own circus, and gave him center ring. This will be fun.
Even when we win in November, the current regime rules by edicts and their agenda. It takes time for legislative and judicial avenues. I’m not being pessimistic, we do need to win Congress this year to slow the idiotsy.
