I would LOVE for Republicans retaking Congress to immediately re-tool this committee into a proper investigation of the unconstitutional power grabs. But they won’t.

Dems did this when they lost the House in 1994 for the first time in 40 years, passing everything that they possibly could. When the Republicans lost the House a few years later, most R Representatives just went home early. I called about 15 offices back then and was shocked to learn that.

The Dems have already issued the subpoena and the legal process will play out over time to deal with that question. I would nothing past the dems.
The question right now is whether the DoJ will try and enforce the subpoena before the legal process runs its course.
