I would LOVE for Republicans retaking Congress to immediately re-tool this committee into a proper investigation of the unconstitutional power grabs. But they won’t.
I know. I guess you have to remember that there is only one thing that we get out of a GOP majority, that the Dems are no longer the majority.
The purpose of the J6 investigation should be to find out why security was so ineffective at the Capitol on Jan 6. For example: Why did they use only bicycle rack type fences? Why did they have fewer than usual Capitol Police on duty that day? Who opened the thousand pound magnetically locked doors from the inside? Why was the National Guard not permitted to be there until it iwas over? Etc.
If this were a company trying to continue in business and make a profit instead of the government, that is what the company would be trying to determine.
