I love our country. Our God-given rights of freedom, life, and liberty enshrined in our Constitution and Bill of Rights are my inspiration. I answered the call to duty and took an oath, dedicating my life to supporting and defending those freedoms, both in uniform and in public office.
The democrat party is the party of authoritarian, totalitarian, virtue-signaling busybodies.
They know what’s best for you, and you have to comply for your own good, or they will burn your house down and kill you.
Nice, but you’re still an anti-gun, baby killer so.........meh.
bkmk
Bless you Tulsi.
So she left the Democratic party. But will she stop voting with the Democratic party?
My thoughts too. The culture in her district (Hawaii 2nd district I believe) must be shifting away from Dims, so she needs a rebranding.
Oh, but she is so moderate.
But people are going to suck up her triangulating politicking. They are already doing it here.
And she will lay it on to become relevant and run for office. We are going to see video of her with her ear and eye protection, shooting at gun ranges and such, and people are going to suck it up.
I don’t buy it for a second. I don’t give two craps about her words, those are delivered in meaningless tsunamis to sweep shallow and undiscriminating voters into her corner.
And sadly, it is going to work. Mark my words.
Everything, except technology, has gotten worse since Reagan left office.
She isn’t in Congress, so she votes with no one in Congress.
She’s learned a lesson. But many other lessons to go, like that the second amendment is also part of the constitution. So, back to school tulsi.
I am always for people who see the light regarding that horrible traitorous democrat party. I am mostly glad for Tulsi that she has stood up.
I don’t agree at all on some issues with her, but I do on many others.
Involvement in foreign wars that do not have anything to do with national security is a big one for me. America inciting wars in order to push globalization and impose world wide tyranny does not get my support.
Sadly, you are probably right.
I know she's run for prez. I thought she was also a U.S. Rep for Hawaii. I see now that she hasn't been a Rep the past 2 years.
Because there's nothing "democratic" about the RATs?
They lie about everything, even their brand name is a lie.
Don’t get me wrong-I am very glad she came out and publicly left The Democrat Party. They NEED and DESERVE that public face-slapping, the more the better.
And we need to be welcoming to those who change their minds. Some our our best voices and greatest conservative resources are those who lived on the other side, such as David Horowitz.
I just don’t she has changed. She is still the same person she was a few years ago when she was voting in lockstep with Democrats.
Perhaps the “Overton Window” shifted so dramatically that she realizes she is in actual danger of being stranded in an ideological no-man’s-land, and that things are shifting so she wants to be on the side in power.
But her principles have not changed that I can see. And I don’t want someone with HER principles being regarded as a “voice” for conservatism.
She is a very pretty face with female anatomy, but she is no conservative that I can see.
I hope she does run. She’d pull way more Democrats than Republicans.
Hawaii is the most blue state in the nation, even more than Cali.
There’s a sizeable portion that don’t even want to be in the US.
She has nothing in common with the Kook Party.
She's basically a Bill Clinton type of Democrat, and while I'd never vote for someone like that, I wouldn't consider them an enemy of the country itself.
