Democrats hold 3-point advantage on generic congressional ballot ahead of midterms

Forty six percent of registered voters said they will vote for Democratic candidates in the midterm elections, a 3-point lead over Republicans, according to a Politico-Morning Consult poll released on Wednesday.

The pollster has asked the question weekly as the elections approach, with Democrats holding a slight lead in each iteration for more than a month.

Forty three percent in the latest poll indicated support for Republicans, while 12 percent said they didn’t know or had no opinion.

A majority of voters — 53 percent — who ranked the economy as their No. 1 issue favored Republicans, with 34 percent of those respondents supporting Democrats.

Voters who ranked energy, education, health care, Medicare or Social Security as their top problem, however, favored Democrats.

A registered voter poll is silly this close to the election.

“registered voters” 34 days before election is silly. Still, this is bad news for Democrat Party.

I suppose, but I dismiss polls from left wing colleges and the Politico. They just can’t help themselves. They are leftwing and that is the result the push. They also are less polling organizations and more influence organizations. They put their polls out not to reflect, but to influence public opinion.

Its pretty obvious the rats are following the same pattern they did for the 2020 presidential election - hiding their candidates while using the rat media to carry their water, polls showing close races, and counting on their fraud machine to pull out the races close enough to be swung.

I wish I heard more of our candidates pointing this out.

Energy?

The question must have been couched in terms of climate change. No way in hell did most voters who consider "energy" a top problem will vote D.

“Methodology:

This poll was conducted between September30-October2,2022 among a sample of 2005 Registered Voters. The interviews were conducted online and the data were weighted to approximate a target sample of Registered Voters based on gender by age, educational attainment, race, marital status, home ownership, race by educational attainment, 2020 presidential vote, and region. Results from the full survey have a margin of error of plus or minus 2 percentage points.”

They’re just prepping us for another steal.

Sadly, yes. The only response is to volunteer to be a poll-watcher. That's how Youngkin won in VA. At least scare of the casual cheaters. The professionals are going to cheat no matter what.

I find it hard to believe that 53% of registered voters are planning to vote to continue the crapstorm policies currently resulting high inflation, support of pretend girls in girls’ locker rooms/bathrooms, release of criminals/crazies into the general population, etc., etc.

That said, I also find it hard to believe that the Politico Morning Consult poll asked a significant number of registered voters in each of the 435 congressional districts to get an idea of who will win the House this November. Some districts are locked in to vote for one party or the other—poll numbers from them are pretty much worthless for understanding what is likely to happen.

2 or 3 days ago I read another poll which said that Republicans had the largest generic lead that they ever had going into the midterms, 4%.l, so I call BS.

The stage is being set for massive vote fraud - again.

There has to be narrative that it’s been a close race and it could go “either way” in order for a steal to be even remotely considered not a steal. If they reported honestly and said RATS trail by 4 or 5 pts and they end up winning it’s a bad look media wise. so they get the stories out there that it’s a back and forth fight and pay some pollsters to provide the “according to this poll” background. They’ve been doing this for years.

It’s a very weird poll, they have men preferring Dems 48-42, and women 44-43.

I’ve never seen any actual vote where men prefers Dems more than women.

Sorry, but this is abject bs….

I freely admit the GOP is in general running a bad campaign cycle and failed to press their advantage… but claims D’s are ahead in the generic ballot is just abject nonsense…

This is the same BS as the polls showing Hillary up 10 in GA or whatever it was in 16. Utter and completely unbelievable bs….

Why do you keep posting all these worthless polls? They are not or ever have been reliable.

And, yes, I will take the advice you're about to give and scroll past your posts.
