Former Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi has defended Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, saying Russia's leader was "pushed" into the conflict.
"The war in Ukraine is the tip of the iceberg of a conflict aimed at reshaping the world order," she said earlier this month. "So we have to fight this battle."

Ukraine was a nuclear armed nation.
Ukraine received extensive assistance to dismantle ICBMs, ICBM silos, heavy bombers, and cruise missiles from the U.S. funded Cooperative Threat Reduction Program, with the solemn promise that the US would defend the Ukraine.
Promised by Clinton. Enforced by Obama. Not.
Gee Norse, you can’t fool me. I’ve traveled in Russia and in Ukraine. Ukraine is a beautiful country with beautiful people and has every advantage over Russian travel.
Did we push cartels into drugs???
Ukraine has been a part of Russia for centuries, and the mixing was more of a grassroots event than a concerted effort to destroy the identities of Ukrainians. These Russian speaking Ukrainians have been citizens of Ukraine for several generations.
One thing is for certain, you definitely are full of blather, general. I'm beginning to wonder if you have any clue as to the realities in Ukraine and its history. You certainly do not express any knowledge of their history over centuries.
Perfect
The attacks on Silvio Berlusconi by “conservatives” here is fascinating.
Damon Wilson, CEO/President of NED talking about a democratic Russia being the end goal.(regime change?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=424&v=kI4QDm5G-pE
Read all about Wilson. Been advising or working for NATO for 20 years. Atlantic Council as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Damon_Wilson
Wilson lives in DC with his husband but often visits his mom in SC. (Hey Graham lives there - some watery eyed good times going down in SC)
The NED finances the IRI (repubs like McCain(chair for 25 years), Graham, Dan Sullivan Kelly Ayotte, Romney, Rubio, Cotton, HR McMaster)
he NED also funds the NDI (dems like Tom Daschle, Abrams, Brazille)
Guess who funds the NED? Congress. It’s a big f-in club and you ain’t in it.

Activists of the Orange Revolution were funded and trained in tactics of political organisation and nonviolent resistance by Western pollsters and professional consultants who were partly funded by Western government and non-government agencies but received most of their funding from domestic sources. [2] [150] According to The Guardian, the foreign donors included the U.S. State Department and USAID along with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, the International Republican Institute, the NGO Freedom House and George Soros’s Open Society Institute. [151]
State Dept, USAID, NDI, IRI, Soros all joined up to help the Activists of the Orange Revolution. Isn’t that special.
So with Wilson publicly stating end goal being “a democratic Russia which just begin with choices made in Kiev”, McCain and Graham visiting Ukraine and posing with troops, the Biden boys activity in Ukraine and then the US/NATO push for Ukraine joining NATO, I could see Putin getting a bit concerned.
#67 is a fantastic post. Much appreciated.
Actions also have reactions.
Escalations that led to war.
America cut off it’s oil exports to Japan for Japan’s invasion of Manchuria. What was America’s interest in Manchuria?
Things like this get outta hand.
They are why I walked from the Republican party and the conservative label. Who would want to be associated with them?
He speaks the part of the history of this conflict that the pro-Ukraine Freepers refuse to talk about.
The other night Tucker said that Biden etc ruined any chance of peace deliberately because they wanted Putin gone because they wanted to punish him for getting Trump elected.
This makes no sense - all those people in DC knew Russia had nothing to do with Trump getting elected - it was a lie.
So why does Biden want Putin gone - my guess is he stands up for Russia and doesn’t want the NWO. Unfortunately he isn’t a really good guy...but in a way I can understand what I think is his reasoning.
Please post the proof of your accusation.
Their reserves have people who are just there for the benefits and have no intention of fighting. Just like ours.
Bucha was a hoax, like the “Mass Rape” hoax.
Conservapedia provides an extensive history and analysis of the Ukraine war, including the “Bucha massacre”.

Here’s a rule of thumb, if it’s a story about Ukraine in the British tabloids (or our MSM/Big Tech media), it’s a lie or a gross distortion.
And yet even before the war millions of Ukrainians migrated to Russia to live and work but none in the opposite direction.
Look, after 2014 Ukraine was being turned into a de facto member of NATO. NATO trained and armed the UFA and conducted military exercises with the UFA. NATO also integrated the UFA into its command and control system. About all that was missing was the deployment of NATO troops and an Article 5 guarantee.

I think we’re on the same page. The Neocons, through NATO, tried to be a bit too ‘cute’ here. They figured they could arm-up Ukraine and make them a defacto member of NATO, without actually adding them to NATO, in order to get Donbass back (which would have happened last Spring had Russia not gotten in their way).
At that point, there were two more things to do - and I don’t know the order of it:
1) Get Crimea back
2) Make Ukraine a formal member of NATO
And with NATO comes NATO bases and front line troops, probably TONS of them. And so Russia has to respond to having a huge, hostile, border, and that’s very expensive.
In fact, that was our China strategy during the Cold War - help China be a threat to Soviet Union, so that the Soviets would be ‘weakened’ by having a huge force tied-down.
Yes, you’ve about summed it up.
Thanks, nice article.
I don’t really side either country on this. Seems like it could have all been avoided.
I don’t trust very much about anything that I am reading about it from the media. I used to go to Freerepublic, because there are a lot of well read Patriots with long memories to gain insight. The last 6 months or so, there are still a lot, but it is hard to weed through the ones who are repeating propaganda.
