Vladimir Putin today made a speech announcing that the conflict in Ukraine would be escalated, resulting in citizens attempting to leave the country.

In Putin's speech, he said there would be a partial mobilization of the military. Reservists and ex-military personnel with "certain military specialties and relevant experience" will be subject to conscription, he said.

Following this, according to the Russian online newspaper Lenta, flights to Armenia, Turkey and Georgia sold out.

"All tickets for direct flights to Istanbul and Yerevan were sold out in a few minutes after Putin's address," the publication's Twitter page wrote in a caption.

It also shared screenshots of the pages and how they could not be booked.

E Rosalie L, a Johns Hopkins interdisciplinary scholar, also said that the costs of flights began to skyrocket yesterday, when Putin was initially set to make his speech.

FR has become infested with hand wringers and wokesters in disguise. That’s good. The enemy is working overtime to weaken us. We still outnumber them.

Biden is a leftist.

Soros is a leftist.

The WEF is leftist.

All 3 are tied to the hip with Zelensky.

Nazis are National Socialists (leftist).

Pelosi and Schiff made a trip to Ukraine to shake Zel’s hand.

There are Freepers here that love them via their support of Zelensky and also through their refusal to.go after Soros ties to Zel, etc, etc.

Plus they have consistently deflected from the US shouldn’t be defending Ukraine’s borders but our own, they forget how Putin can’t roll over all of Europe as they claimed at the start of this, and they deflect from how the US is 30 trillion in debt.

But they like tens of billions of US tax dollars going to Ukraine. They like lots of debt. They’re chickenhawks and neocons and they never go after Bush or Cheney either over their wars of adventure.

Their actions or lack thereof is the proof, and what we need to do is stay out of this and let NATO contain Putin in Ukraine. But no doubt they support what Clinton did to Serbia and him hyping genocide claims and getting NATO to go rogue and go on the offensive against its charter.

Because they like Clinton, Biden, etc.

Soros profits from this war that Putin started.

Supporting Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is supporting Soros and is a leftist choice. That’s why the hardline communists in the Chinese politburo would so.

Are you a supporter of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine? Are you then a leftist?

The FR response to this is interesting. Sort of reminds me of WW2 history where people hated Hitler so much they aligned and appeased Stalin. Failing, of course, to recognize that both were evil. Here, Zalensky is, perhaps, not as evil as Putin, but his mission is more destructive to the US and the US interests. Obviously. And supported by enemies of the US and draining our economy and military assets. And, polarizing the US with Russia and China.

So, hooray for Ukraine! at least until they lose or we get to WW3.

Nosewanking "With the way the war is thought the Russian losses are minimal."

"The objectives are obviously updating". Yup you guys are retreating.

"Also there are other hostilebl countries other than Ukraine looking for troubles" it's only Putin looking for "troubles"

The support is for ordinary Ukrainians who are fighting for their lives and the lives of their loved ones

Mobilization will not fix Russia’s logistics problems;
Mobilization will take people out of the work force, causing a labor shortage, lowering tax revenues, and hastening Russia’s economic collapse.

Nobody in Moscow or St. Petersburg wants to die for Putin’s ego.

LOL! FR has become a good source of leftist BS propaganda.

Your response implies you do want to die for Putin’s ego.

I have a serious question for you.

If Russia attacked a NATO country, would you support Russia or NATO?

If that NATO country was the US, would you support Russia or the US?

Shogui Joke:

Shogui - We have only lost 5,000 in Ukraine.
Shogiu - We have killed 50,000 Ukrainians.
Shogui - We need to mobilize 300,000.

Shogui is telling the truth: The other 48,000 Russian deaths were due to smoking accidents.

They have a lot of smoking accidents.

Plus they were so kind to give up all of northern Ukraine to the Ukrainians

Are you posting stuff opposite to reality as a form of mental illness?:)
The people buying arms do not rely on media propaganda.
It is enough for them to know that 16 of 18 ‘best in the world’ German PH2000 are out of commission, of them only half destroyed by the Russians, the rest broke apart.

Yes it amazing the number of “good will gestures” the Russian Military is making, leaving behind so much ammo, artillery shells, rockets, top secret intelligence vehicles, and a top of the line factory shiny, unworn treads T80M.

Maybe this is why mobilization is needed - to make more “good will gestures” as an apology for invading in the first place.

You mean like the reported 44 of 16 HIMARs the glorious Russian dog crap army reportedly killed.

And here is resident moscovite dog lecturing people on mental illness.

Quite true. Russia's "reserves" are not reserves in the sense of the US military, formed into units that are paid, with ranking officers and administrative staff in place, functional and properly maintained weapons and equipment, meeting and training regularly, and ready for call to active duty on relatively short notice. Instead, Russia's reserves consist mostly of a list of those who were conscripts recently, but not formed into functional units, and without well maintained weapons and equipment or ongoing training.

In practice, many of the Russian reservists will not report or will be found to be unfit or exempt for some reason. Their training will be stale, and weapons and equipment will have to be scrounged or repaired and refurbished. Due to the Russian need for an immediate injection of manpower, most of these reservists will simply be fed into existing units that have been thinned out in combat, been defeated, or otherwise collapsed in battle. That may fill the ranks, but without time for training and without new weapons and equipment will do little to rebuild such units into militarily effective formations.

In sum, Putin's partial mobilization will not reverse the adverse course of events on the battlefield but seems likely to erode his political base as Russian families lose more sons in a dismal and failing effort. NATOs members will continue to support Ukraine, and likely with a sense that Putin and Russia will soon be played out in military terms.

It is nice that you can make up Russian statements and objectives there claim that they are false of failed to materialize.

The war is not getting won by methods your ilk is using against the political opponents. You can scream that Russian is losing all day long, make up stuff in the media and flood the internet with troll but it won’t change anything on the ground.
