The FR response to this is interesting. Sort of reminds me of WW2 history where people hated Hitler so much they aligned and appeased Stalin. Failing, of course, to recognize that both were evil. Here, Zalensky is, perhaps, not as evil as Putin, but his mission is more destructive to the US and the US interests. Obviously. And supported by enemies of the US and draining our economy and military assets. And, polarizing the US with Russia and China.
So, hooray for Ukraine! at least until they lose or we get to WW3.
The support is for ordinary Ukrainians who are fighting for their lives and the lives of their loved ones
Or like France where they would say, “Better Hitler than Blum.”
