Russia may lose this war, I doubt we see Russia admitting defeat and leaving Ukraine, they will have to be driven out and I’m not sure without US help Ukraine can do that.

This move by Putin was always in the works if Ukraine didn’t surrender and allow itself to be subjugated by Russia.
But Ukrainians know what it’s like to be under the Russian boot, and they want no part of it.
There has been bad blood between the Russians and Ukrainians for generations, more so because of the Holodomor (which, I have to assume you’ve never heard of, because on another thread you said there was no history of Russia starving Ukrainians; and don’t try to trot out the excuse that it was the Soviet Union that did that: Russia WAS the Soviet Union, because it called all the shots from Moscow).
So Russia invades Ukraine and then seeks to annex its territory but the "Neocons" are responsible? I guess rape victims are also responsible for being raped and for being beaten-up for resisting. That is a strange set of values that your are advocating.

We here learned today the following which is simply what we’ve learned right or wrong Putin intentions despite western usual refusal to report
After the big non aligned summit a few days ago where we are told China turkey and India offered no opposition
Russia intends to hold referendums in occupied Donbas next few days declaring they desire to be Russian federation
It will of course pass
Russian Duma will vote and pass of course
Then Putin will do publicity blitz and approve it
Then Russia will go to full Russian army force into conflict rather than DPR LPR Wagner Chechen Belorussian etc militias or contractors to bring this to an end
What western border they end up who knows

Once they are annexed, Russia territory may be defended by a declaration of war - and then Putin sends in the actual Russian Army, rather than the conscripted forces in the Special Operation. Russia was constrainted by the Russian Special Operation that did not permit actual regualr Military units from the fight. This annexation will be denied by the Ukraine, and then there will what Putin will cal WAR.
Just imagine the emergency powers decrees by US politicians in the event of all out war with Russia. Goodbye constitution.
