The Coming Outlawing of the Republican Party

After Biden took over, Democrat activist groups began a push to disqualify Republicans who had participated in the Jan 6 protests from elected office based on the 14th Amendment. Adopted after the Civil War, it's mostly notable for abolishing slavery. But Section 3 also banned anyone from holding elected office if they have "engaged in insurrection or rebellion” or “given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof." Aimed at Confederates, most would have considered this a dead letter, but the Left excels at digging up obscure legal fossils and making use of them.

The insurrection lawsuits have targeted members of congress, Senator Ron Johnson and local officials. But by defining anyone who questioned the 2020 presidential election results as an “insurrectionist” or having provided “aid and comfort”, the scope could be vastly larger.

A New York Times article lists "147 Republicans who voted to overturn election results". Lists like this are proliferating in time for the midterms and they are meant to be actionable.

The criminalization of the Republican Party achieved its first real win when a New Mexico judge removed Otero County Commissioner Couy Griffin from office over his role in the Capitol riot using Section 3. But there were more troubling developments earlier this year when the 4th Circuit ruled in a case involving the disqualification of Rep. Madison Cawthorn that the 1872 Amnesty Act did not nullify Section 3. A Georgia federal judge ruled similarly in a case involving an election challenge to another House member, though that case later collapsed.

The Section 3 campaign lost in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Arizona, but it’s still alive.

But the law matters less than the agenda. Some of these efforts have run into legal roadblocks, but they have also seen some success in using Section 3 to

Live the sword, die by the sword.

Bye, bye Biden.

Bye, bye, Schumer.

Welcome Republican House.

Welcome back, Mr. President.

It may already be a done deal.

If Dem cheating is sufficient to steal any particular election, and they and the MSM continue to ignore evidence of such cheating, and continue to label any such claims of cheating as lies, then, aren't we already there?

Nah there’s a huge difference.

Communist take over works by them scaring the right to not do anything. And they make examples of those that do (See J6). The rest on the right don’t want to lose their pensions, VA disability payments, etc... so they sit back and let it happen.

A civil war the right actually fights.

Exactly, but they won’t. And why are no state Attorney Generals investigating Hunter & Joe? You know like NY did Trump...

From a certain point of view it could be said: It’s about Damn time! From a certain point of view.

Democrats have been outlaws for ~100 years. And have taken off the mask the last 12 years or so. So yea, the Grand Old Party many have to go renegade and stop bowing and fetching for the Dems.

And it’s about damn time!

We really do need to start regularly referring to the Dems as the “authoritarian Democrat Party.” Messaging and branding are important.

One thing we should learn from all this is they are too incompetent and stupid to ‘take over’. (as explained by Tucker Carlson)
As far as Collectivism in any form they propose, there aren’t enough people willing to work hard for the cause. (Quiet Quitting)

You know, if they actually DID outlaw the republican't party, I'm not sure I'd be all that upset. First, because they're useless, and they're every bit as corrupt as the democrats, and second, because it would be an opportunity to create an entirely new party with NONE of those RINO p.o.s.'s in it.

Yes, I know it isn't realistic, but it would be a nice change.

Ballot box, soap box, cartridge box.

The process continues, the options narrow.

In 1776 only 26% of the colonials supported independence from the crown. It wasn’t until a victory for independence was seeming to be the outcome of the war that the colonial General population got on board. Some things never change.

Civil war requires two (or more) warring sides. Last I checked, the Republicucks are still in their slippers.

Do you really think that if “they” outlawed the Republican party that “they” would allow the formation of another political party??? If the scenario you postulated were to happen I can almost guarantee that forming another political party would be the last thing anybody would be trying to do. Surviving a crackdown that would outlaw a political party would have huge consequences that would go far beyond just a political party.

Do you suppose he could have just up and killed all of the Democrats all by himself? Tell us what Trump could have done differently.
