President David Olive of Bluefield College received news that the school’s basketball players continued to kneel during the National Anthem despite him telling them to stop immediately or face consequences.
Some players continued to kneel as they reportedly believe it’s their way to take a stand against racial injustice.
However, Olive shot back that the protesting reflects poorly on the school. He informed the team that he is suspending multiple players who refused to stop kneeling.
“The basis for my decision stemmed from my own awareness of how kneeling is perceived by some in our country, and I did not think a number of our alumni, friends, and donors of the College would view the act of kneeling during the anthem in a positive way,” Olive said in a statement.
“I have heard, and I understand the perspective of our players as to why they desire to kneel during the National Anthem. I also know this form of protest immediately shuts down a number of individuals from listening to the intended message because of their perspective regarding the flag. No individual’s sincere motives are inherently wrong.”
“But I continue to contend that we will not get to where we want AND NEED to get as a country in addressing these racial issues without making honest attempts at creating pathways that bring people together for a common cause.”

Ok... please review the basketball team and insure the racial makeup of the team matches the country. 70% should be white. 14% Hispanic. 12% black and 3% asian.
Anything else would show favoritism towards one racial group over another.

Eventually, some people will reformat the kneeling business to squatting....to stage an example against toxic wokeism. Then someone will develop a Russian-dance-squat to protest against too much starch in foods. At that point, the kneelers will realize their gimmick is ‘lost’.
Doubling-down, will resolve this.
Those anti-American African yutes can enjoy the games as paying spectators.
What they really want is everyone else to kneel to their brain dead woke authority. How many of these geniuses have done anything other than watch a few revisionist youtube videos and then get sanctimonious with their mob psychology.
If I was the coach I would immediately forfeit any game where a player knelt during the anthem. On the spot. Announce to the team the reason for the forfeit. Shame those kneeling bastards. What racial injustice? Are they protesting the fact that whites are passed over for promotion in order to advance some diversity BS? How about the 47 black shootings just in Chicago this past weekend? What exactly are they bitching about now?
Sounds like he needs to polish his resume.

“...What racial injustice?...” Well, now they’re being denied their first amendment rights. You know how this goes. Maybe someone should remind then that branDUHn has declared that none of those rights are “absolute”. Like the 13th or 19th? Think there would be any push back if those were infringed on?
They are showing disrespect toward the country that has given them the opportunity to better themselves with a college education...
In my opinion, if they are sincere with what they claim they feel, they should leave and go to another country that they would feel more comfortable living in...
