The only city captured intact by Putin’s forces remains a hotbed of resistance and partisan activity.
It was the news many in Kherson had waited six months to hear. The Ukrainian counter-offensive launched this week to recapture the southern city was cheered by those who have suffered under Russian rule since Moscow’s forces took over in March.
Residents in Kherson, strategically located on the Dnipro river that cuts across the country, reported hearing missile strikes and explosions around the city, which had made the Russian patrol increasingly jumpy.
“The pro-Ukrainian activity of people who remain in Kherson is very high,” said one resident in his mid-40s. “People here closely follow events at the front, cheer for the armed forces and await the liberation of the city.”
“Explosions are happening every day,” said another Kherson resident, a pensioner. Like all those who spoke to the Financial Times by phone from the city this week, they asked that their names be withheld for their safety.
Kherson remains the only provincial Ukrainian capital captured intact by Russian forces since President Vladimir Putin ordered the full invasion of the country in February, and the only territory occupied by Russian forces that lies west of the Dnipro river.

What ad-hominem?
You are just shilling for corruptocrat Ukes run by Soros-Nuland-Obama the same way that Rats today shill for the corruptocrat Dems.
That’s just a look at reality through a clear lens.
Facts. LOL
He’s just repeating the Russian lies, as he was instructed.
The Ukraine is no more...it has ceased to be...this is an EX-country.

They even got France!!
I think 95% sure Kharkiv and Oddessa will be included. ZNPP must be out of long-range arty.
Russians will go around / above N/Mikolaev and Oddessa until they connect to Transnistria. These will be sieged until a surrender, with no other options, no NATO cavalry coming.
Ethic Russian Kharkiv the Russians can take anytime. The current to-and-fro is just a force-reducing mechanism by the Russians. Let the Ukes advance, overextend, cut them off, destroy them. This is just a cat and mouse strategy that works in Russia’s favor. But at the moment of Russia’s choosing, they can send entire new divisions of fresh troops against Kharkiv, and an exhausted Uke defensive force there.
Your map will probably be close to the final result, give or take an oblast.
Too bad that Bojo the Clown, channeling Fantasy Churchill, blew up the April negotiations, the best deal that Ukraine was EVER likely to get.
“Everybody who disagrees with me is a Russian spy.”
Says every 7-year-old coached by his dim parents.
What is left of the Ukraine is already being taken over by the Poles. The Ukraine is no more...it has ceased to be...this is an EX-country.

Bravo! “Fighting Russia down to the last Ukrainian “ insures they will be carved up like a Thanksgiving Turkey….the quicker Vlad takes Odessa, the quicker this clown show ends.
LSD must be great, but I confess, I have never tried it.
Show me some more of your trips. They must be incredible.
Seriously?
Germany depends on Russian fuel to run their economy. It's you who is immersed in wishful thinking, and your guessing is realistically incorrect. If all this is true, why is NATO refusing to engage, including the U.S.?
Inflation is starting to run rampant in Europe, and it gets worse by the day here at home.
I know when the reality starts hitting you here at home you will change your tune. Let's see, Biden allows Russia to build pipelines, while denying them here is the U.S. Do you even see anything wrong with that?
Biden took the U.S. from being energy independent. If Biden had not done so, we could help Europe. But we can't, and Biden is running around to oil producing nations begging them to increase their production with little to no success. Meanwhile Russia is supplying our nations adversaries with all the fuel they desire.
There are none so blind as those who will not see.
Your heart may be in the right place, but your brain is totally disengaged.
Trump wanted Europe to move away from Russia and its energy, and to strengthen its military forces against Russia.
Russia invading Ukraine is forcing Europe and NATO to follow Trump’s instructions.

“How much longer are you going to justify the Russian invasion on the so-called coup? Yanukovych was removed from office by the democratically elected parliament after he had fled from the country. In the meantime there have been two free elections. Zelensky was voted into office by an overwhelming majority, including in those areas of Donbas that could freely participate.
As for the so-called referendum held in Donbas, it was held under military occupation by Russian surrogates. Even so, the referendum was for autonomy, not for independence or union with Russia. There have been no referenda in the provinces of Kherson and Zaporizhzhya, which have ethnic populations of 82% and 71% respectively.”
So...how long are you going to deny the fact that WE engineered the circumstances, including the extensive involvement of Neonazi elements in inciting and carrying out the critical acts of violence, that led to the chaos that led Yanokovych to leave? It’s public record, and the Neocons haven’t been quiet about their role. It was the same violence that cowed the parliament. There is no question that the US was running the operation using Victoria Nuland as its operative on the scene, down to selecting the coup government leaders. This was no “so-called” coup. We did it, along with help from others such as Soros and Kolomoyski.
The subsequent elections were not “free”. The Neonazi elements have acted as important “enforcers” in the military and civilian population ever since. The Neonazi atrocity at the Hall of Trade Unions in Odessa, for example, was used to signal what would happen to dissenters in the future. To the extent Zelensky had popular support in the west of Ukraine, it was because he ran on a “peace platform”. He either was lying during the campaign or wasn’t strong enough to resist the NATO and Neonazi warmongers. It doesn’t matter which, because he is now complicit in using the AFU as nothing more than cannon fodder.
While it is clear that the Donbass would have settled for a solution rather like Quebec in Canada even up to Minsk II, which the DPR, LPR, and the RF accepted, the walk-away by Kiev (forced by the West) has sealed the end of the career of the Soviet created administrative area called “the Ukraine” as the nation state known as “Ukraine”.
Ukraine existed peacefully with the West and the RF until the actions of the Obama and Biden administrations converted it into a pawn for a war of NATO aggression toward the RF. We, along with NATO, not the RF, are responsible for this war. Even now, the Neocons are fantasizing that if they can draw this out into a war of attrition through military actions and sanctions that they can the cripple RF and force a regime change in the RF, as they did in 2014 in Kiev. It isn’t close to working. Instead, the regime change is probably going to occur throughout the European NATO countries. 70k protestors are now in Prague demanding that the government stop supporting this criminal war, make the Czech Republic neutral, and repair relations with the RF. The people of Italy and the Netherlands have also been demonstrating over the same or similar issues. More is coming. I only hope that the regime change extends to the the Benito Biden regime.
As for your apparent belief that “ethnic affiliation” is somehow the sole determinant of how people will vote, even you should recognize that people vote for many other reasons. While ethnic Russians don’t want to live under the Azov/Right Sector/Svoboda;OUN/Banderite riddled Kiev coup government, they and others may well see the RF as providing more security, far better economic prospects, a way of avoiding GloboHomo, and a less corrupt society. What matters is how they see it, not how you and the Neocons view the situation.
So, go beat your war drums and act as an apologist for the criminal activity in the Ukraine by the Obama/Biden administrations. Play on the antique prejudices of the thoughtless and the elderly here, and amplify the noise of the trolls. You can’t escape reality, and in this case both the military and moral cases are heavily in favor of the people of the Donbass and the RF.
The end of Ukraine is known by EVERYONE, even their biggest Neocon Cheerleaders.
And it is a shame - they had a chance at peaceful coexistence, but they were more useful as a battering-ram to weaken and then dismember Russia.
Well, Russia neither wanted the ‘Serbian’ treatment, nor were they so weak as to have no choice. So now, Ukraine, once a great country, with great people and resources, will soon be carved up amongst a number of countries and whatever is left calling itself Ukraine will be a corrupt, poverty-stricken, non-entity on the world stage.
...and they can thank the Neocons and their puppets in Europe for that outcome.
LSD must be great

Ask you FSB handlers I’m sure they have a large supply of drug - you sure to find one or more to your liking. Maybe they will have some left over Owlsley.
Kazan is the name of a city in RuZZia.
Is that where you live?
Dirty RuZZian.
Note the hole in between the administrations, where Obama's embedded werewolves attempted to use The Ukraine to impeach and remove the enemy of the neocons and globalists, President MAGA Trump.
