Gas was $1.51/gal. I run the more expensive premium and ethanol free in the 64. When Pres Trump was in office I could fill up that car, 20 gallons for just over $50. Now that’s it costs me to fill my trusty old Chevy Cobalt that runs on regular with a 12 gallon tank. 😖🤬🤬

That’s right. And I, along with millions believed that it was just loyal opposition. The idea that anyone could be intentionally trying to overthrow America never occurred to anyone back then or at least not in my age group (20+).

I was in my 20s in the 80s too. Reagan was my very first election, and after watching how Jimmy Carter screwed up this country, I couldn’t wait to change my registration and vote Republican for Reagan.
