Woke Aussie Bank in Electric Vehicle Push: Ends Loans for New Gas and Diesel Cars
Breitbart ^ | 08/28/2022 | Simon Kent

An Australian bank has decided the future is electric and will stop approving personal loans for new petrol and diesel-powered cars from 2025 onwards.

Electric vehicles (EVs) comprised a tiny two per cent of vehicles sold in Australia last year. That is a drop in the ocean compared to 17 per cent in Europe and 13.3 per cent in China, and with high starting prices coming in at $47,000 and a lack of charging stations Down Under, potential buyers still look for any alternatives to those on offer from major EV manufacturers.

EV tech does not adapt to farm equipment and highway 18 wheelers delivering goods.
We will have gas and diesel for a very long time

>>Coming to a big bank near you<<
Not only banks, but multi-national corporations being used as a tool for social engineering as well.

They will push people worldwide into enormous hardship and pain...that is until the “Great Revolution”.

Folks around the globe begin hunting these demons down.

Hopefully there’s enough sane people who will withdraw their money from that bank and they won’t have money to lend for cars, electric or otherwise.

There is reason buried deep within this process

In the Asia Pacific region, EV’s exported from China in massive quantities are projected beginning now. That is, internal combustion engines will no longer be manufactured in China.

When you are a banker, you loan money after receiving sufficient
collateral security. For a period of several years, the collateral for an auto loan is an automobile that has lost all value. the internal combustion engine has rendered the car obsolete

This is not true of America. The transition to all electric is years away.

My wife has a friend that said it costs her $29,000 to have her battery and fluids changed after 3 years. Is Pete buttedge going to pay for that too?

Simon Kemp begins: “An Australian bank has decided....” Kemp fails Journalism 101 by failing to name the bank. This sort of thing happens much too often and is infuriating to those who have little time to spend and must quickly read news snippets.

Everything these a$$hats do is designed to destroy our freedom and liberty. In particvular this destroys freedom of movement and limits the peasantry now being created to little radii of about 200 miles. No more traveling to protests in DC, LOL.No more million man marches that terrify the Uberclass.

These Marxist Kaffirs think we do not know the score.

Just remember one thing.

GET OUT THE TRUMP VOTE.

The Deep State and the MSM is working 24/7 to demoralize the people who are MAGA.

Tell your wife to sell that junk before she is stuck with it for good.

The customer-owned Bank Australia wants to change that in its drive to reduce carbon emissions

Well the customers can't complain at least.

Further widening the market for high interest finance companies. That is if gasoline and diesel fuel is still available in the future.

Ever give any thought to what happens to the nation’s national parks if this progressive 100% EV fantasy takes hold and range anxiety sets in as the newest national neuroses? You won’t be seeing the USA in your Chevrolet. The admissions guy collecting money for park admissions will be out of a job and the poor bears will have a sugar fit as they lose their donut supply source. Also, gonna have to take the wheels off the Winnebago. Call me a conspiracy buff, but I think the progressive plan is to urbanize everyone in close quarters and get them to repopulate Detroit.lol

I’ve driven coast-to-coast in the US in three days several times in gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles. I wonder how long it would take to drive a Tesla from Sydney to Perth (~2050 miles).

And bear in mind that the entire continent has fewer than 300 public fast charging stations.

And it bears mention that the Outback is constantly being criss-crossed by diesel-powered semi tractor-trailor rigs (roadtrains) that can pull as many as four trailers and weigh up to 200 tons.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Road_train#Australia

A BEV capable of pulling a 400,000 lb load would need a battery that weighed 50 tons (think of the fireworks!) and wouldn’t get as far as the city limits before having to stop for a refill.

Just opening up a window for regional banks to increase market share in the new and used conventional cars loan business.

The whole greening of Australia is a Marxist wet dream.

As you point out, it would never work in Oz with current technology and curent infrastructure.

Just foolishness.
