I know this is very well-intentioned and it is refreshing to see patriotic young people but does anyone else have second thoughts about the appropriateness of painting an image of the American flag where cars will be driving over it?

Would you prefer BLM like the NYC Mayor helped paint in front of Trump Tower?
These kids did a good thing....

Hendricks said it took the Moapa Valley High School seniors three or four days to complete the work.

I don’t care fir it. Reminds me of the flag fervor after 9-11. Every fast food cup and bag was festooned with the flag, and they were laying in the gutter.

Fast food companies who may or may not care about the flag, giving away flags to customers who may or may not care about the flag, is not the same thing as five patriotic kids taking the time to paint the flag.
