FBI raid of Trump’s home stems from a wary federal record keeper who alerted Justice Department

The Aug. 8 search of former President Donald Trump’s home and the unprecedented criminal investigation into his possession of White House documents all began with David Ferriero, the now-retired national archivist who alerted the Justice Department after finding classified information in boxes he retrieved from Mar-a-Lago.
Critics say Mr. Ferriero is a partisan who changed the rules to help excuse Secretary of State Hillary Clinton when she was under scrutiny for mishandling classified documents on her private, unsecured email server.
They also say the raid for a criminal investigation is just another politically motivated scheme to take down Mr. Trump, who remains popular among many voters and is weighing a 2024 White House bid. Here’s more insight on Ferriero:
“That’s advice I’ve given to the White House already: that you better not hire another white male ... We’ve had ten white males,” Ferriero said during an annual Sunshine Week event when the moderator pointed out that there has never been a female national archivist.
When asked by the moderator if he was retiring by choice since there’s no fixed term for the national archivist, Ferriero said he wants the Biden administration “to be the administration that replaces me.”

I’m not sure who to believe. Government and the media have zero credibility. I will form an opinion when unredacted documents become available. Regardless, nothing will change my lack of trust in the FBI. That has been festering for decades. It is just as much about what the FBI does and what the FBI doesn’t do. It is an unequal application of weaponized political power.

Why has Washington Times started posting patently false fake news?
There was nothing illegal for the FBI to seize. This was clearly a partisan act by the FBI to try and damage President Trump and illegally plant evidence or seize President Trump's legal documents and political plans.
