Federal agents removed top secret documents when they searched former President Donald J. Trump’s Florida residence on Monday as part of an investigation into possible violations of the Espionage Act and other laws, according to a search warrant made public on Friday.
F.B.I. agents seized 11 sets of documents in all, including some marked as “classified/TS/SCI” — shorthand for “top secret/sensitive compartmented information,” according to an inventory of the materials seized in the search. Information categorized in that fashion is meant to be viewed only in a secure government facility.
It was the latest stunning revelation from the series of investigations swirling around his efforts to retain power after his election loss, his business practices and, in this case, his handling of government material that he took with him when he left the White House.

Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable Jury Member would vote guilty in such a case. Jury Members necessarily weigh a number of factors before voting. There are obvious considerations, like the strength of the evidence, especially regarding intent. Responsible decisions also consider the context of a person’s actions, and how similar situations have been handled in the past.
Also given the track record of the FBI over the past few years, this case maybe laughed out of court before being presented to a Jury.........

Never happen. The DS is after Trump and next his supporters and there is no going back or letting up—it’s all or nothing. This is the coup d’é·tat, and if they fail the entire DS goes down. Nothing will stand in their way of a complete take over.

Yes, Trump needs to fire the 7,000 plus Senior Executive Service members and then move many Federal Agencies to the far ranges of the States. Defund the Department of Homeland Security. That would make a good 1st day back in office.

Fascinating. Imagine if they try to jail Trump for keeping documents wanted by a library while Obama is sitting on 3 million pages of Presidential records. I'd like to think there would be a big reaction but I used to think the FBI were ethical good guys and that the military would refuse any orders to fire on citizens and I no longer truly believe those things either. Once we allowed fascism to get its foot in the door it has changed everything.

I am mostly of the opinion (I waver) that the only way to save the country, or at least a part of it, is to completely and utterly destroy it - down to the studs as they say. The Federal monster and the totalitarian leftists are far too entrenched and have too large a base in the population and the cultural institutions for anything other than destruction to be successful, at least in some regions.
We may have a majority, or a larger plurality, but it isn’t enough to remove them and cut down the Federal behemoth in a game of give and take and politics. They have been on the offensive for generations as the side that believes in freedom and a republican form of government have ceded ground on defense. There really is only one option left to preserve what can be preserved…and that’s not all of the country, for certain.
Government is too big, it needs to be cut in half.
