Democrats inched ahead of Republicans on FiveThirtyEight’s generic congressional ballot average on August 10 — less than four months from the midterm election night.
FiveThirtyEight updated their generic congressional ballot average on Wednesday to show Democrats have a slight advantage over Republicans.
The average showed generic Democrats with an average of 44.2 percent and generic Republicans with an average of 44 percent.
The average from FiveThirtyEight looks at polls from Morning Consult, Rasmussen Reports, Ipsos, Data for Progress, and YouGov.

“As long as the GOP is lead by people like the Murder Turtle, and Ms. Romney, not to many of us care. If someone gets the reins that has a set, that would change a lot.”

I was just going to comment/respond similarly and checked the replies and there’s yours. Agreed.
“Some people on FR are totally convinced there will be a red wave in November. If you show any doubt about that, they try to brand you a “downer” or a “doomer” who needs to sit in a corner and shut up. I guess they need to keep telling themselves something so they can delude themselves.
The ONLY reason I have any doubts is because the American voters have disappointed me way too many times.
They ARE brainwashed enough to vote for the D’s again.
The Deep State and their lackey propaganda networks wanted to destroy Trump. They just about have with no resistance from GOP, Inc.”

Hear, hear! Especially the no resistance from the GOP part. So sick of the milquetoasts. I hope all the RINOs lose. Until we get rid of them, it’ll be decades more of this.
Our family has decided to write-in true conservative candidates rather than vote for backstabbing RINOs ever again.
“Polls like this are meant to provide cover for the steal. So when the steal happens they can refer to the polls and say the polls said so.”

This. Every single thing involving politics is about conditioning and gaslighting the public. First, this disheartens Republicans and encourages the America-hating, Leftist morons who vote Dem, so it is an attempt to alter turnout. But, in the final analysis, they ARE going to try another steal, so turnout is less important than getting the public to accept yet another absurd result.
Factored into the poll was an automatic 20% cheat for the democrats
If this is true, we are over.
Wolves polling high among the sheep when wolves are conducting the poll.
Excellent post.
I don’t believe this even for a New York Minute.
Tom Bevan of Real Clear Politics says to disregard any generic poll that says democrats might retain the House. He said all signs point to republicans taking over the House by a large margin and probably taking the Senate by 2-4 seats.
> Who do they think is stupid enough to believe their fake news?
Virtually everybody at my work, with very few exceptions, believes EVERYTHING the Establishment media tells them.
Everything.
And these are engineers whose stock in trade is logic!

We have been presented with the easiest setup ever. Literally everything the Democrats have done has been an abject, demonstrable failure.
And we get nothing from our leadership. Worse than nothing; Lindsey Graham says he LOVES Joe Biden.
+1
It is because there aren't more than a handful of actual Christians in the lot of them. Pagans don't want to do what is right. They want to do the works of their father the Devil.
In general, Republican office holders demonstrate no real convictions or principles.
They don’t stand for anything. Except their own re-election.
Obviously, yes, if you want to change anything.
Amazing isn’t it?
More technology in the phone in their pocket than what on the first space shuttle and still.
“The polls used to claim a tight race until days before the election, then at the last minute give accurate polls to retain credibility.”
excellent summation of the 2020 election voter fraud.
Yesterday i saw gas for $4.099 in an average station in a mid-Atlantic area city. Two weeks ago I bought gas at a bargain station for $4.079 cash on the Delmarva Peninsula. Most stations there were charging $4.199. This week they are probably charging from $3.75 to $3.85 on Delmarva, maybe less.
I think polsters normally figure a 3% margin of error. Of course combining analysis of 5 or 6 polls may average it out.
