The generic congressional poll always leans Democrat — even when Republicans win the actual elections.
These races are local, not national...
The polls used to claim a tight race until days before the election, then at the last minute give accurate polls to retain credibility.
In 1980, they kept to the lie of ‘too close to call’, when they knew that Reagan would win in a landslide.
By 2016, the lie had gotten to the point that the final polls had Hilliary +8 in the bellwether states. The official count had Trump by a hair, and honest count had Trump by +8.
In 2020, they moved the count to match the polls in bellwether states. 3 states, 43,000 votes. 22 million added to the Biden total, via mule, machines, the usual vote buying, and when that still gave Trump a landslide in the critical states, counting previously hidden ballots repeatedly until Biden held an insurmountable lead, barring a successful lawsuit. The judges ruled no standing to most lawsuits, and the lawsuits that the Trump supporters won were ruled moot as far as affecting the results.
The ‘Republicans’ at the state level failed to win lawsuits before the election to keep the vote honest (judges ruled those lawsuits premature - no harm done), failed to secure the precinct machines beforehand and on election day, were chased out of the counting rooms until only Demonrats remained, and failed to file lawsuits the the courts would recognize as valid.

I did poll watch at the most recent election. It was very secure for those voting by person. But the ones being mailed in, I have no idea.
I must tell you our little corner is very Conservative, very reliable.......our daughter was a precinct judge awhile back and the Republicans voted pages and probably 3 or 4 Demonrats came and voted.

Some people on FR are totally convinced there will be a red wave in November. If you show any doubt about that, they try to brand you a “downer” or a “doomer” who needs to sit in a corner and shut up. I guess they need to keep telling themselves something so they can delude themselves.
