Pizza Hut features 'drag kids' book for children as young as kindergarten

Pizza Hut is featuring a book about "drag kids" as one of the books promoted by its "Book It!" reading incentive program aimed at children in pre-kindergarten through 6th grade.

The "Book It!" website features a book titled "Big Wig," and states that the reading is geared toward children in pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade.

"Big Wig" is a picture book that "celebrates drag kids," according to a description on the Simon & Schuster website.

"In the spirit of Julián Is a Mermaid, this irrepressible picture book celebrates drag kids, individuality, and self-confidence from the perspective of a fabulous wig!," the description states.

The description adds that the book is about a child who "dresses in drag" and competes in a neighborhood costume competition.

I researched and learned that Pizza Hut has NO contact email (there is one in the UK, but I seriously doubt that they could assists here in the states).
They also have no online-chat.. only the phone number and twitter account above.

There is probably a FB account, but I have all of their IPs completely blocked from my internet.

There are 1000s of good children’s books out there for the 12 and under crowd. For the age group listed (3-8) I can think of the Little Critter series, Berenstain Bears, Strega Nona, Owl at Home, Frog and Toad, Mickey’s Magnet, Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel, Caps For Sale, Blueberry’s for Sal etc

Pizza hut has great, maybe the best, thin crust pepperoni and mushrooms. I only get it maybe 5 times a year though. That’s enough to get a yearly reward of their awesome wings too.
