“Unlike Trump’s DoJ this DoJ is not afraid to go after political enemies.”
Trump never had a DOJ... never. Not for a single day.

You’re most definitely right.

Navarro might have shown up if they would let him testify publicly but that committee would probably make him testify behind closed doors. He is too excellent at explaining things. The illegitimate committee does not want him to be heard by the public. His books and his presentations on Bannon’s Warroom are outstanding.

Contempt of Congress? They deserve contempt.

You’d think Navarro will challenge the formation of the committee since the didn’t adhere to the rules creating it.

That will be too late and we can no longer think we can win elections in a rigged system.

Navarro really should get a copy of Hillary’s old FBI testimony, and repeat her crap word for word. Same goes for any other Trump guy who gets subpoenaed

I can't imagine what he's being indicted for. He was held in Contempt of Congress for not responding to a subpoena - this is likely just the follow-up indictment to go along with it.

How many Democrats have been in contempt of congress?

I read elsewhere that a congressional subpoena doesn’t have the weight of the courts behind it and cannot have criminal consequences if refused by those outside governmental services (for instance, a cabinet secretary cannot refuse it.)
I’ll see if I can find the source. Maybe its just so much crap like most other things I read these days.

Courts have, on other issues, refused to look behind the curtain. Anything a majority in Congress does is considered done according to rules. The de facto sessions situation, wehre they fake meet, is taken as meeting, quorum present, etc. “Legal fiction.”

I am sure he will someday in this case. He is being brave because his case could shootdown the who committee essentially. He will lose all the way up but possibly win in the USSC. That’s my guess at least.
