I do not like graffiti anymore then most but I dislike selective enforcement of laws even more.
When the state (here meaning the government and their allies in the media) control all conversation then there are few options for the citizens to speak.

Once you have “hate speech” laws anything that those in power don’t like becomes hate speech.
Putting a sticker on a stop sign is a very minor offense, using the police to investigates shows just how afraid those in power are of free speech.
