Reps. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) and Jake Auchincloss (D-Mass.) penned an op-ed in The Washington Post on Friday urging the U.S. to continue providing military aid to Ukraine, arguing that the former Soviet Union country is fighting for both its freedom as well as the United States’.
The Republican and Democrat said that the Ukrainian military needs to be guaranteed intelligence support, weapons and training amid Russia’s ongoing invasion.

I can’t wait till the Lizard is gone . Unless she pulls a Murkowski in the primaries. At that point the Republicant pary should disavow her.

After Saddam was kicked out of Iraq, Bush/Cheney installed retired LTG Jay Garner to head Iraq Reconstruction. They fired him within 30 days, after he stated his goal was to "return Iraq to the Iraqis as soon as possible, it's their country."
What a terrible mistake Bush/Cheney made, it opened the door for the flood of contractors from the likes of Halliburton and Brown and Root.
I knew LTG Garner from a TDY assignment I had as a 1st LT, when I was the XO for a support detachment at the German Anti-aircraft range at Todendorf. One of my primary jobs was to "shadow" the battalion commander of the unit conducting their service practice, to make sure they had everything they needed.
Then LTC Garner, CO of 2nd Battalion, 60th ADA struck me as a superb leader. It was obvious from his interactions with his officers and soldiers, how they respected them, and how his battalion performed that week. He was a man you would love to work for.
There's little doubt in my mind that the reconstruction of Iraq would have gone much smoother, with fewer American lives lost, had Garner remained in command.
So Ukraine is fighting for America’s freedom too? I’m guessing that Liz Cheney got a peek at secret Russian documents that show Putin plans to invade the US if and when Ukraine falls.
As a side note, I wonder where Putin is hiding all those landing craft.
Actually, in trying to disrupt globalism and a “rules based international order”, it is Russia that’s fighting for our freedom.
Not gonna happen in Wyoming.
