Global Food Crisis: IMF Warns Of Unrest Amid Food Supply Shortages
Breitbart ^ | 4-230-2022 | Peter Caddle

The IMF has become the most recent global body to release a warning regarding potentially forthcoming global food shortages, saying that vulnerable nations are at risk of civil unrest amid supply issues.

Civil unrest linked to sky-high food prices is on the cards for poorer countries, the IMF has warned amid fears that the world could be heading into a global food crisis as a result of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

Amid past warnings of starvation and “Hell on Earth” migrant crises over a lack of food, the international finance body has predicted that growth across the world will be negatively affected, with poorer nations in particular to feel the brunt of the ongoing crisis.

According to a post on the organisation’s website, a mix of high inflation and supply problems are to greatly slow economic growth across the world, with vulnerable economies, in particular, to be hit with the brunt of the hardship.

“This crisis unfolds even as the global economy has not yet fully recovered from the pandemic,” the post penned by the group’s research department director, Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas.

“Even before the war, inflation in many countries had been rising due to supply-demand imbalances and policy support during the pandemic, prompting a tightening of monetary policy,” the piece continues. “In this context, beyond its immediate and tragic humanitarian impact, the war will slow economic growth and increase inflation.”

“Furthermore, increases in food and fuel prices may also significantly increase the prospect of social unrest in poorer countries,” it goes on to read. “Central banks will need to adjust their policies decisively to ensure that medium- and long-term inflation expectations remain anchored.”

What’s more, while the IMF report went into detail as to the near future effect of the current crisis for this year and the next...

"“If you think we’ve got Hell on earth now, you just get ready,” the senior official continued. “If we neglect northern Africa, northern Africa’s coming to Europe. If we neglect the Middle East, [the] Middle East is coming to Europe.”

Those that can afford a ticket to Mexico will be showing up at the Mexico/USA border.

You'll wind up taking care of millions.

"“Camp of the Saints” 2.0"

Even before the pandemic crisis I was reading that 200 millions of Africans will have to migrate to Europe by 2050 or starve.

So many people are not focusing on this problem. They are intentionally showered with distractions.

There’s enough food and more for everyone on the planet. Famine is a tool of evil leaders.

You don’t have to take them in, Europe, but if you do, embrace the suck.

They should have thought of all the before imposing sanctions on Russia.
The sanctions boomeranged right on to the west.

Are you kidding?

Why would people of color want to be where White people are?

Aren't they afraid of being oppressed?

Ahhh yes,

The unforeseesn consequences of starting a conflict like we did (between major world powers disrupting trade, food production, the financial markets, free movement of people...).

One more bullet for Mr. Bidens resume.

Yes,

Theoretically.

If everyone got a long and shared and allowed it to move freely... there would not just be enough, but an over abundance.

But... then there is greed and power.

Sadly, this is not just a problem in Somalia, but even in the Western nations of Europe and N. America.

A little back story - where I learned how the world really works. The Germans as part of the Somalia mission in the early 90s were in the more Northern areas. They tried their best and even drilled wells for the locals so you had water, which was in short supply. Women would have to walk carrying this water over long distances. When the Germans packed up and left (mission over), the local warlord leader in the area blew the water wells up. Why? Because he controlled the water wells which gave him power. These wells made what he controlled less valuable. But then it dawned on me that while I judge these people, consider them idiots... “we” do the same exact things. A little more hidden and in our own mind it's all different, but it's the exact same thing. What do you think Ukraine is about? Economics/money and power.

We can easily feed them

We just need to get rid of the corrupt governments that are creating the famines and shortages.

Suggesting birth control as a solution because of food shortages means that you believe their narrative and lies that this planet cannot sustain our population. It’s playing right into their hands telling them that their propaganda is working.

Boy, that was sure such a great idea to shut down the world’s economy over a new flu bug. Now we will see more people die of starvation than died of Covid. Aren’t you glad our Overlords are so smart.

Yeah, I know this is all by design.

I started “prepping” in 2001, with food, water, medical, TP, paper towels etc, and now over 13k rounds of ammo, for 2 calibers. I had firearms in 8 calibers, and almost 300k round, but sold that excess off 6mos ago, to Family & Friends.
