Kathy Barnette is inching upwards. Pretty much a three way tie. McCormick falling to 3rd and out of the picture would be nice.

Lou’s my man but I wouldn’t complain if Mastriano were the nominee.

Don’t want to be defeatest, but Shylock Shapiro will be the next Governor irrespective of who the GOP puts up.

If Barnette can figure out how to convince one or two of the candidates in lower positions in the polls to drop out and endorse her before the debate, and she can make a memorable positive appearance at the debate, she stands a good chance at getting the nomination. If all the other candidates stay in the race, they’re just fighting for fourth place.

What’s so unstoppable about Shapiro? He barely won his last race against a no-name in a Dem wave year.

She could be improving due to McCormick and Oz attacking each other - she is not personally taking any of that damage they are inflicting on each other.

If Dr. Oz wins, I won’t lose sleep. mastriano is a dope. And a fool. He helped get trump the genius the silver medal in the PA election. which counts for jack squat, in case you don’t remember. IF he came clean, admitted he was had, and vowed he’d never let the democrats trick his stupid ass again, I’d feel better. But he won’t . The country is dead anyway. We should be preparing to Red Dawn the sh-t. But we will let the brown wave destroy everything, until we bow to the great reset or the yellow peril. Because most pennsylvanians are stupid. Like most kentuckians. And members of the morons, I mean mormons in Utah. And those in Maine. And Alaska. And...

I’m for Lou Barletta for governor. Act 77 is the reason Trump lost PA & Mastriano voted for it.

I think Lou Barletta stands the best chance against Shapiro.

I have been saying for several weeks now that none of the PA Republican candidates for governor or U.S. Senator currently serving in the PA legislature are ever going to win a statewide race.

And I'll now say that this whole GOP primary process has been downright awful. I've seen some of the campaign ads and online videos posted by various candidates for the statewide races, and the kindest thing I can say about them is that they make the GOP primary candidates look like a collection of circus clowns.

For all his flaws, this Wizard of Oz guy is the only one whose ads even make the candidate look like a real political candidate.

Watching that bumbling fool fall all over himself trying to make excuses for his role in the disaster of the 2020 election has been embarrassing.

Barnette’s got my vote, and some others from my condo complex. I’ll be giving rides to the polling location, that day.

I heard Mastriano ran twice a Democrat and is a Trump supporter now.

You heard WRONG!

Doug Mastriano has NEVER been a Democrat, and NEVER ran for any office before he retired from the U.S. Army in December 2018. He then ran for Congress in the May 2018 primary as a REPUBLICAN when the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court obliterated the old 2010 congressional districts and Bill Schuster retired and we lost Scott Perry to another district. He finished 4th in a field of 10, with John Joyce winning that seat for the new PA13. Mastriano then ran for Rich Alloway's seat in 2019 when Alloway suddenly quit after getting elected for a new term. Mastriano won in a landslide, and won re-election in an even bigger landslide.

Watching that bumbling fool fall all over himself trying to make excuses for his role in the disaster of the 2020 election has been embarrassing.

Nonsense!

The truth you don't want to hear is that Mastriano did NOT have anything to do with the conception, writing, and whipping of SB 421, which became Act 77.

It was Lisa Boscoli's bill, filed in March 2019, THREE WHOLE MONTHS before Doug was even elected. It was sponsored by BOSCOLA, BROWNE, MENSCH, BARTOLOTTA, KILLION, LAUGHLIN, SCAVELLO, STEFANO and PHILLIPS-HILL. But NOT Mastriano.

And it was a Republican bill, designed to reach typically non-voting rural citizens, and had a number of safeguards that were unilaterally and illegally removed by Wolf and the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court, using COVID as their excuse. All Republicans voted for it and nearly all Democrats opposed it.

And COVID was no where on the horizon when it was filed, marked up, and passed.

So all this mewing about Act 77 places Mastriano into a "damned if he does and damned if he doesn't" category.

Imagine the howls of outrage from his constituents if he had voted WITH THE DEMOCRATS, all alone, and AGAINST the Republicans.

So that why this Act 77 nonsense is so dishonest and misleading.

Here's the legislative history so that you can see for yourself:

Senate Bill 421
