On Sunday, Steve Kerr, the coach of the Golden State Warriors, spoke about last weekend’s shooting in Sacramento and used the incident to call for more gun control laws.
Kerr, who is known as a radical leftist who often uses his position as an NBA coach to push far-left political policies, demanded that lawmakers make more stringent anti-gun laws after the shooting that left six dead and a dozen wounded earlier in the day.

Hey, Steve! If you want to disarm the American people, YOU should man up and start the door-to-door confiscation, and LEAD it (meaning, PHYSICALLY lead it, as in, UP FRONT). Yeah, I thought so.
The bigger question is “Why wasn’t there an armed person available to oppose the shooter?” Liberals and progressives pass laws to make us victims then double down when the inevitable happens.

No doubt the weapons used were all legally purchased with background checks completed right stevee? I heard some of audio of the event. Pretty sure someone had a magazine holding more than 10 rounds. Maybe they should be illegal in cali. Oh, wait. They are. Guess the miscreants simply drove over the hill to Reno and got them? Sort of like groot blaming Indiana for their gun issues. I really, really, really don’t like these people.
Gee, a thoughtful, rational person just might conclude that "gun control" does not work, does not prevent or even reduce violence.
I would further contend that "gun control" which has the net effect of disarming law abiding citizens, actually increases violence and crime. It lowers one of the thresholds for criminal behavior. With strict "gun control" in place, criminals know that their potential victims are less likely to be armed. With that much less to fear, criminal behaviors are more likely.
Some coach of a sportsball team? Why should we listen to him? Is he some kind of expert on constitutional affairs such as the second amendment and the reason behind it? NO. Shut up and sing.
