Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has been hospitalized, according to a statement from the court.
Thomas was admitted to Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. on Friday evening after experiencing flu-like symptoms, according to the statement.

Consider he is an African American male. He is 73 years old. But let's take away 8 years. So he is 81 now. Let's hope he is the exception to the rule. But we have to be mindful of the statistics. He has had a long and very productive career so let's hope he makes it to 80. But that would be the equivalent of being 90 for a Caucasian male.
