Having moved the world to tears singing her favourite song whilst hiding from Russian air raids in a Kyiv bunker, little Amelia Anisovych was transported from Ukraine to safety in Poland.
The seven-year-old girl’s rendition of the “Let It Go” hit song from Disney’s “Frozen” went viral on the Internet, striking a tender chord in hearts worldwide, instantaneously becoming both an anti-war symbol and an expression of Kyiv’s resistance to the atrocities brought by the Russian invader.
Having been transported from Ukraine to Poland, the starlet was interviewed by Poland’s public broadcaster TVP.
Apart from drawing ponies, Amelia loves singing. “Dady usually turns on a cartoon for me and that is when I hum a little, singe a little,” she said, admitting that she did not start singing just like that. “I took classes. It is not like I started pulling off those songs immediately,” she stressed.
Amelia is very glad she arrived in Poland “I could not wait. I really, really wanted to come here,” she said.
But Amelia is not alone here in Poland. Apart from her grandma, her 15-year-old brother Misha is with her, and Poles have been very welcoming and generous to her. Her parents Lilia and Roman, however, stayed behind in Kyiv to defend their country. “I do not know whey they are right now. They simply stayed in Kyiv,” the girl said, adding: “I miss them… but I will see them again. After all, they are my parents.”
Two men who helped with Amelia’s evacuation told TVP that her father could not leave Ukraine because he was of conscription age. “Knowing that the child will be safe, his wife decided to stay by his side and protect the city,” one of them said.
But these were not just bombs that the girl had to flee from, as Deputy Senate Speaker Małgorzata Gosiewska told TVP. “She had to run from vengeance,” she said, adding that “children are being killed there… Putin’s war targets the civilian population, children and those who stand tall against evil… Amelia was a target.”
The Putin Puffers will call for her death.

Any FReeper who isn't buying the Biden/Obama/Hillary/Harris/Pelosi/Graham/Soros/CNN/MSNBC/Twitter/Facebook/Hollywood narrative of what's going on in Ukraine.
They rarely question themselves on how they can be such Ukrainian patriots as to endorse actions that could lead to the nuclear destruction of the U.S., yet they could not identify Ukraine on a map 6 months ago.
