They used psychological warfare to make sure you hated Trump and voted for Biden not on issues, but solely on your hatred. The Ukrainians have been granting Russia those leases and extending them for many years. There was no hint that wasn't going to extend into the indefinite future. Both countries being able to use the facility was a perfect, peaceful solution.
Putin had absolutely no legitimate excuse to seize the Crimea in direct violation of the agreements Russia had signed in 1994. I can't fathom why you people continue making up such bogus excuses for him.
