The national average gas price per gallon in the United States on the eve of the January 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol was under $2.25 per gallon, while it hit a record-breaking price of over $4.10 per gallon as of March 7, 2022, according to reports.
The date, January 6, has been in headlines lately, thanks to the recent criminal conviction Tuesday of the first defendant in the Capitol riot to go to trial.

That’s a common gaslighting theme. They have polls showing massive majorities love high gas prices. Think, “I love big brother.”

The best way to get rid of enviro whacko policies (which will still be around after the Ukrainian nonsense ends) is to strictly enforce them. This idea seems to be lost among many here.
They also have polls showing overwhelming support for a NATO no fly zone over Ukraine.
They enforced the hell out of the 55 mph speed limit. That was a long thirteen years.

Gas prices, smass prices. The whole country is rallying around Dementia Joe and his charming, beautiful wife Dr Jill. The war in Ukraine is the beginning of the Biden turnaround... the point at which Joe became a beloved wartime president... FDR with an ice cream cone and a teleprompter instead of a cigarette holder and a brain. Or something. At least that’s what they’re saying on CNN.
They make it up. Those dummies don’t know where Ukraine is. I watched the UCLA nimnols being interviewed saying Biden was compassionate and inclusive and wasn’t a Republican. If people were truly this stupid, we should forget the mid-terms now.
Biden just said today that the higher gas prices we’re experiencing are ALL Putin’s fault... What a crock~! Anyone who can still think knows damn well this is purpousley being done to control us. It’s Barak Obama pulling the puppet strings on Biden, who’s just doing his bidding to destroy America.
Where can I buy some of that 4.10 gas. It is way more than that tonight and going higher tomorrow.
I recall reading about how in states like Montana, if you were caught doing more than 55, the officer would likely give you a one dollar ticket that was good for the whole day, lol.

Damn near had to pay over $6.00 per gallon today but, wandered back home to Morgan HIll, CA and paid $5.09.
Whew!
To think. I mightuh overpaid just 30 minutes earlier!
New job, new territory, making more money and can afford this even though I drive 40K miles a year but, this is ridiculous!
Can imagine Memorial Day traffic will be pretty light this year....

I figure, if we're going to have the Cold War of the 1970s, the inflation of the 1970s, the gas crises of the 1970s, the malaise of the 1970s, couldn't we at least have the drugs of the 1970s?

All the cocaine today is laced with f**kin' fentanyl!
Local gasoline price was stagnating for 4 days at $3.59. I filled my gas tank the last day of the $3.59 price. Now four days later the price is $4.19. And as I drove by I saw more cars than usual gassing up.
