so that any un-serialized weapons or firearm parts will be illegal to have possession of,”
= = =

So, if I disassemble an old single shot shotgun, and most of the parts do not have serial numbers, how much trouble am I in?

I would need SCUBA gear to do that, however.

Infringe much?

Lol. Very sophisticated. Cardboard boxes and a Harbor Freight drill press. I wonder what these idiots would imagine an unsophisticated arms factory would look like.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) -- In the South Bay, the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office said, "assault weapons, machine guns, and ghost guns" (all illegal weapons), were seized from what they're calling a "sophisticated ghost gun factory.

and

"There's actually a new law coming online in July, so that any un-serialized weapons or firearm parts will be illegal to have possession of," she explained.

So let me get this straight: The three were arrested for possession of weapons that were already illegal in the State of Kalifornia, yet a new law coming online in July would have stopped them from breaking the existing law?

The three making firearms are FELONS.

The problem is not ghost guns, but criminals on our streets due to weak justice.

Just dayamn. I live in San Jose and I wish I had known about this place.

From my home page

___________________________________________________________________

I’ve been pro-gun since I realized it was a right protected in our 2nd amendment, since I was a child.

I was gonna start building a gun collection in the 1980s. But then I saw this movie scene when Red Dawn came out. A chilled hush ran through the theatre.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OaF-j8x5Vc

I thought about that movie for 3 days. I decided I would never be on anyone’s list of gun owners.

I was vindicated in this decision when a Newspaper sparked outrage for publishing names, addresses of gun permit holders
https://www.cnn.com/2012/12/25/us/new-york-gun-permit-map/index.html

And my decision was once again vindicated in the town I live in — San Jose, CA passed law requiring gun owners to get liability insurance

Ghost guns are nothing new.
Anyone remember when Bobby Kennedy was shot down by a Palestinian immigrant and the news media went into anti-gun hysterics?

About that same time there was a raid in Southern California on an illegal sub machine gun manufacturing concern. Few people heard about this as it was said that the guns were being manufactured for sale and use in South America and had covert White House approval from LBJ.

So there were 8 semi-auto rifles - protected under the 2nd Amendment, even if illegal under Commiefornia law - and 2 handguns.

A “full-scale ghost gun factory...” Morons! A full-scale factory would involve having at least 5-10 Ghost Gunner 2 CNC machines along with hundreds of 80% receivers ready to be machined into 100% receivers. They had no such thing there, not even close. On top of that - and MUCH more importantly - the (utterly unconstitutional) Commiefornia law against so-called “ghost guns” isn’t even in effect yet. So what’s illegal about it? What’s the difference if they were making one for each of them, or 50 for each of them?

What a complete POS article.

Prohibitions never work. The failed drug war is proof. We learned back in 1933 that prohibitions don’t work, but just cause black market crime to soar, and that feeds other crime.

If you ban guns, you get illegal guns. That is just how it works.

Liberals are idiots.
