OTTAWA, CANADA (TND) — Sources say Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau plans to invoke “martial law” to give the nation’s federal government greater authority to quell anti-vaccine mandate protests taking place across the country.
Anonymous sources who reportedly could not speak on the matter publicly told the Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) Trudeau indicated to his caucus Monday morning he will invoke the never-before-used Emergencies Act.

Ottawa-based journalist Keean Bexte said Trudeau will deliver remarks during a press conference with top cabinet officials at 4:30 p.m. local time, and “will likely invoke martial law” at that time.

Thanks. FR search doesn’t always prevent multiple threads. Without ‘canada’ in the title, ‘emergencies’ as in Emergencies Act not in the title, my prior search went nowhere.
If the statists had waited another generation they probably could get everything they want. But today there are too many of us around who remember what relative freedom feels like.
I guess if martial law is enacted, then the truckers best stay home and not deliver anything to anyone.
And I can’t see the farmers being willing to provide for those who are complying.
At every turn he makes the wrong decision.

To be honest, the truckers have been very naughty. I think they should all go home AND DELIVER NOTHING. Let pretty-boy Trudeau and his pals make all the delivery rounds.
