But a General Strike is another matter entirely.
The Canadian army is not all that large, around 23K active duty. If they fire on their own civilians, things will get very ugly, very fast.

They can fine and tow and arrest people actively protesting, but if people refuse to work, how do you fight that?
Burning the trucks is too permanent.
They can sit and then be used again when this is over.
Burning them does not allow for that.
Don’t burn them. Just park them indefinitely unless the government tries to come and confiscate them. Then at that point, since they are lost anyways, burning them could be the option.

General strike. Taunting. Eye-catching signs. That’s how you deal with would-be tyrants, by non-cooperation and laughing in their face.
Canada will soon consist of Ontario. Maybe BC and the Maritimes will want to be part of the shrunken Canada but they’ll have a hard time passing through the other provinces.

So what? Let the government buy new trucks. It would be a cold day in Hell before truckers should start driving again. Let the people do without so they feel the pain of their socialist voting.

I totally agree with you, I was wondering why they don’t slow roll.
In all of my 75 years riding the starship Earth, I would never think Canadians would get up to these type of hijinks. God bless them.

That might be the PM plan to get out of this mess.
Besides only illegal South Americans are encouraged..and even facilitated by our doctorial misleaders..to cross our borders.
