RLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A medical examiner in Florida said Thursday that comedian Bob Saget died from an accidental blow to the head, likely from a backwards fall. Saget was found dead Jan. 9 in a Florida hotel room. He’d performed in the area the night before as part of a stand-up tour. A toxicology analysis didn't show any illicit drugs or toxins in Saget's body, according to a statement from Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany in Orlando. An autopsy report released later Thursday showed that Saget had an abrasion on his scalp, a fracture at the base of his skull, fractures around his eye sockets, bleeding between the brain and tissue covering the brain as well as bruises to the brain. Saget was positive for COVID-19 but had no inflammation in his respiratory system, according to the report. “His injuries were most likely incurred from an unwitnessed fall," the statement said. “The manner of death is accident."

How do you get fractures around the eyes and the base of the skull? No illegal drugs? No toxins. Alcohol, marijuana legal in some jurisdiction, doctor prescribed opiates and sedatives are legal. Family says no alcohol or drugs.ME say no illegal drugs or toxins.

A couple of months ago we had a friend that woke up from a nap prior to dinner. We noticed his speech was slurred and his personality had changed--for the worse. We finally talked him into going to the ER where they did various imaging and determined he had hit the back of his head and had symptoms of a concussion. He swears he has no memory of falling, and he would have gone about his evening as if nothing had happened had not my retired nurse wife insisted he go to the ER (she must be obeyed).

She was also a smoker. They don’t do so well with clots, etc.

The classic contrecoup injury involves a contusion opposite to the actual site of impact to the head.

At this point, it’s as naive or as gullible to believe the Clintons had them all killed. A fall in the bathroom is a lot more believable in Saget’s case than the murderous prostitute scenario.

there are multiple neurosurgeons saying the same thing about this accident. It is more than just a fall on the bathtub.
But in theory...COVID or the VAX could have exacerbated it so that not as much force was needed.
I think the poster who made the point about illegal drugs might be spot on. Legal drugs may have been in his body as a contributory factor.
Btw, if your eye sockets are fractured you apparently are in so much pain you dont blow it off...unless you dont want to seek medical help for some reason. Maybe he just wanted to get to the next show.
That’s part of the fun of brain injuries though. We really don’t know how much pain he was in. We can look at the injuries and think “gosh that probably hurt”, but if the pain center of his brain was effected he might not have felt a thing. And because of the way the brain bounces around like a pea in a pod, any part of it can be hurt in any collision.
The fact that people are trying to wrap it in ALL the conspiracies shows how desperate and pathetic the conspiracy nuts are. It was vax, it was drugs, it was pedophile revenge, it was it was it was... How about we stick to the actual evidence. It was sad. That’s what we know. Bob was funny, and nobody ever had anything bad to say about him, and the world is worse off without him. Stop being a ghoul and leave it what’s obviously true.
How many neurosurgeons have to come out and say this is not a typical injury from a bathtub fall before you will get that something bizarre happened.
