I would strongly suggest reading the books “ONE SECOND AFTER”, “ONE YEAR AFTER” and “THE FINAL DAY” by William R Forstchen. Entertaining, eye opening and thought provoking all in one.

Peter Vincent Pry, the executive director of the EMP Task Force on National and Homeland Security

The EMP crowd is another group of swamp dwellers looking for a huge handout at taxpayer expense and this kind of over-the-top fearmongering is the tool they are using to extract the payola from the treasury.

A large scale nuclear attack will shut down a lot of the US economy, but that is because it is a large scale nuclear attack and everyone knows our response to that sort of thing would start while the missiles are still incoming, if the counterstrike isn't launched before the other guys missiles have left the ground.

An EMP attack by Russia will not happen.

It would kill many millions in the USA due to Grid Failure. It would get a thermonuclear response and both sides lose lose lose. When a nation such as Russia or the USA let fly with nukes, it all goes to hell. Neither nation would survive as a functioning society.

But federal departments, agencies, and regulatory bodies, through incompetence or corruption or both, have all failed to make our nation safe from EMP and Cyber Warfare,” he said.

Nuclear EMP and Cyber warfare are two very different things. One if you believe the widely refuted claims would destroy physical infrastructure. The other is all about infiltrating computer systems.

Democrats don’t care about the energy sector, its the sector destroying mother earth from their warped perspective.

They’ll wait for the dilithium crystals to show up by science or magic.

When the non polluting form of energy appears we’ll be safe from fossil fuel poison.(sarcasm)

“Pry warned that up to 90% of the U.S. population could die during a year without power.”

Any chance we get to pick WHICH 90%?

As I have said, we can not have civilization without energy because everything is or is the result of energy.

!,000 years ago, energy depended upon man’s physical strength. How fast he could walk, how far he could run. how many berries he could pick or how many animals or fish he could catch.

But the bottom line was energy.

Later came the donkey and the horse and oxen, so he could move faster and farther and carry a larger load.

The steam engine, the automobile and the airplane enabled man to magnify his energy by a thousand fold.

Our government is reducing our access to energy, only a little now but a much greater reduction is planned.

We need to stop this plan before our standard of living is damaged beyond our comfort level.

The danger of an EMP attack is real and it should remind us of the dangers of relying on any single source of energy. As it is, we are too dependent on electricity delivered by a power grid.

Remember when our grandparents warned us “Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket.” Our investment counselors give us the same advice in different words. Why should be be less careful with our lives?

Robert Gates: Joe Biden “been wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue over the past four decades.”

Now I am very afraid Dimjo is making all the right moves to trigger World War 3.

I cringed when idiot Biden threatened a cyber attack on Russia as part of a sanctions package against them. I’d guess Russia has infinitely more experience in this area than we do and it opens the door for them to attack us.

This is second hand for what it’s worth. My brother in law told me a friend of his, age 19, just completed basic training, got his Ukraine orders today.

Yes, they do need to take note.

Some here think an EMP wouldn’t be too bad.

I think the 90% dead would be within 3-4 months; sooner if it took place during cold winter months.

Biden already gave Putin major infrastructure points to not attack, keep “off limits”. Putin no doubt has them first on his list with operative in place. He could easily have had them in place all along. Weakpoints, especially those related to the power grid, have undoubtedly been known for a long time to the entire planet.

Putin has his own list what is first priority to take out and may well be much larger than Biden’s list.

Oddly enough, perhaps this is best for the human species.

With respect to AI, our technological advancement has outpaced our moral advancement and wisdom. To prevent potential AI threats that whip out humanity, this may be best.
