An EMP attack by Russia will not happen.
It would kill many millions in the USA due to Grid Failure. It would get a thermonuclear response and both sides lose lose lose. When a nation such as Russia or the USA let fly with nukes, it all goes to hell. Neither nation would survive as a functioning society.
Ironically, we are barely a functioning society now.
That is a price the NeoCons & most Republican Congress Critters are willing to pay, to stick it to Russia.
“An EMP attack by Russia will not happen”
Don’t be so quick to dismiss this notion. If Russia believes they will be an decimated by NATO creep they may just use the old Saddam trick - scorched earth. We both become MUTUALLY destroyed. Don’t think it couldn’t happen.
China would survive.
Just sayin'.
Pay no attention to the Han behind the curtain...
If the U.S. is crushed economically the rest of the world is dead whether we respond militarily or not. It would be all we could do to supply ourselves with food and exports of food (and other critical supplies) would stop dead in its tracks.
If we have to go into survival mode the rest of the world is on its own without the huge surpluses we have been selling and giving away for decades.
We would hurt but we would survive. How would Russia and China do?
How would it kill millions? Just by the interruption to the supply chain when it comes to food? I do know if that chain was stopped people would begin to stave in less that two weeks. But if an EMP knocked out communication, I assume trucks would still somehow roll unless EMP knocks them out as well?
“An EMP attack by Russia will not happen.”
Which is why proxy states like North Korea for China and Iran for Russia are a threat.
If Iran hits us and we respond...while Russia accomplishes its policy aims in the chaos....
hey, we didndunuffin.
Do you really trust Joe Biden with the launch codes?
EXACTLY!! THAT is why the Cold War was simply a stand off. Both knew what the ultimate results of an exchange would be. Back then, the Soviets still remembered the 50 million that died in the Great War and what it cost. But, maybe today, 80+ years later, ole Puketin has forgotten that little event of world history.
