Actually, we Americans need to do our protests more in line with what the Canadians did. I know it’s not popular with a lot of people in these parts but nonviolent civil disobedience is the way to go.

I’d say their next push will be climate change.. They’ll go all out next time. We ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
They have tried milking climate change, under various names — global cooling, global warming, etc. — for nearly a century.
Some of their positions were published in the 1920s and 1930s.
Population Zero, the hole in the ozone, and disappearing glaciers go back to the 1960s and 1970s.
They have been down on fossil fuels for decades. More recently they have discovered that carbon dioxide is evil.
They know how to take big lies and eventually make a lot of people believe them.
but nonviolent civil disobedience is the way to go.

This should soon spread to Australia and the US (please, G-d!). Israel, we’re pretty much open, except on public accommodations (buses, trains), hospitals and buildings, and we still need to show vaxports before entering government buildings. Synagogues are open, but some of them are full of Karens, so I avoid those like the plague. My local Chabad House is mostly mask-less, though some still prefer it personally, but they don’t bother others.
