On April 4, 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was shot while standing on the balcony of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. An hour later, he was declared dead. For some 50 years, the federal government has maintained that James Earl Ray was the gunman who assassinated King that day. But within Martin Luther King’s family, there remains a persistent belief that Ray is innocent, and was set up to take the fall.
But within a few days of confessing, Ray began to claim his innocence, arguing that that he had been set up by a man he knew only as “Raoul.” It was Raoul, Ray said, who had directed him to buy the gun and the binoculars, and rent the room across the street from the motel. Ray said he wasn’t in the room when King was shot, but he was unable to consistently explain where he had been, or keep other important details in his story straight. Over several decades, federal investigators have routinely concluded that Raoul doesn’t exist.

From what we are seeing these days from the FIB, I now have my doubts about the assassination as well.
I never believed he acted alone.
Their prime suspects were jealous husbands or boyfriend of the many women that King banged. In the early 1980s, I was assigned to a dinner table at an event with Rev. Ralph Abernathy, his closest lieutenant, who who explained to us that women were Martin's weakness and it was a constant battle to screen out those who might be dangerous from entering his hotel suite.
Like the King family, he did not believe James Earl Ray was the actual assassin.
Since we know the FBI has always been corrupt, I’d like to see a new investigation into this.
It was the other guy right behind him... Seriously? Where’s Sirhan Sirhan when you need him... They guy with the name so nice, they had to name him twice.
John Wilkes Boothe killed Lincoln. Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK. Sirhan Sirhan killed RFK. And James Earl Ray killed MLK. Now as far as conspiracies behind these assassinations, it’s anybody guess.
Let’s take Mr. Ray at his word...
If some guy came up to you and only gave a first name and asks you to buy binoculars and a file and to get a room in a specific hotel next to another hotel...
Why would you ever do it?
I remember someone suing to get the FBI to compare the bullet that killed King to a bullet fired from the rifle. The test came back “inconclusive”. In other words, the bullets could not be matched.
If you were one of my crank-addicted neighbors, you’d do it. But you’d screw it up so badly that everyone connected with the stranger who gave you the instructions would be destroyed, including innocent family members.
Maybe Jessie Jackson was behind it because he saw how he could turn it into an industry that would enrich him the rest of his life.
Ray’s escape was a little too suspicious. He was a two bit criminal with no resources yet he managed to get false documents and a fake passport and easily flee the country in the middle of a massive manhunt. I think he had help with that.
I don't tend to believe in conspiracy theories and basically agree with you. After seeing the FIB in action regarding January 6, and other false flag operations they appear to have started, I can see the possibility of them being involved in MLK's death. We know they surveilled and recorded him, so they knew his every movement. The only part that does not add up is how do they convince some dumb schmuck like Ray to take the fall?
It was the one-armed man!
Ray is a dumb schmuck, and a lifelong racist. So he figured he’d be made a hero. That’s how they convinced him to take the fall. Then he discovered all over again that hoosegow is not a pleasant place, so he got cold feet, and either blamed the one-armed man Raoul, or spilled the beans about how he was set up, whichever you choose to believe.
Who is Raoul Epps?
He had a legion of angry boyfriends and husbands that hated him. Along with many rivals.
Bigger question is how some white trash idiot had the means to use a fake passport, flee to the UK, during a massive manhunt.
All excellent points.
Rail Epps did not hang himself
When they close the archives for 50 and 75 years like they have done with MLK and Kennedy and now the scamdemic you know there is sh## and loads of it in those archives that will be viewed at a later date when people don’t care and are unaffected and this is the plan. My guess is the rats had everything to do with it
