If he wants it, we’ll make sure it happens.

On election day in 2024 Donald Trump will be 78 years old. That is one year older than Ronald Reagan’s age when he left office in 1988.

Yet the author says NOTHING about Biden and his age, let alone his obvious increasing dementia. This whole article is nothing but an attempt to pooh-pooh his nomination support from his base and others so widely dissatisfied with Biden and the Democrats. Just more trash journalism.

Oh not this crap again. They will not let Trump have a second term. Been saying that for over four years now. What part of that is so hard to understand?

Rather than running again I wish he’d offer to chair a Convention of States.

A year from now, anybody associated with Operation Warp Speed, no matter their motives, might be politically ruined.

Including Trump.

No. If Trump runs again, it’s going to be all about him. He is legitimately angry over the 2020 elections, he’s legitimately angry over the Democrats’ Jan 6 theater, and he’s legitimately angry about a lot of things…which he won’t forget and which will not provide a way forward. And people are not going to support that or vote for him.

If he’d come out now and start talking about how we were going to end this tyrannical medical fascist state the Dems have created, how we were going to rebuild our economy without the crazy green “climate change” policies that the Dems are using to cripple it, how we’re going to control China, and how we’re going to restore individual enterprise, family life and our health system after this disaster (which he didn’t do enough to resist, since he and Pence were the ones who made Fauci de-facto president of the US), then we could talk.

But he won’t, and if he runs again, it’s going to be just a rehashing of old battles, no program for the future…and no appeal whatsoever to voters.

Trump’s age isn’t really the problem at the moment. But I agree that just based on popular perception, it would be better to have a younger candidate. As the author points out, the public’s current experience of the soon-to-be octogenarian set hasn’t been positive - all of our worst nightmares in government, from Fauci to Biden to Pelosi and more, are in that age group.

We definitely need a new face and Trump could be influential in choosing that person and I hope that’s where he puts his energies.

He should take over as the legally elected President on Thursday. Hopefully, that’s what his press conference will divulge.

To assume the Trump of 2018 is the Trump of 2024 is a serious error.

Biden cannot and will not run. Biden was forced by the party to develop an end to the 20+ candidate primary debacle.

If there is no Democrat candidate with tons of charisma, they have a problem

Trump is the only Republican who can win a national election.

I cringe at the idea of voting for a 78 year old man for president, but, if he is the nominee, I will vote for him.

No... or maybe as a tactical feint to gain support, and then throw his endorsement to another contender.

125 million people could vote for Trump. He’d still lose the election.

I see where the fascist “democrats’” Iranian voter base is vowing “revenge” if the ‘RATs don’t put President Trump on “trial” for killing their head military chimpanzee. It’s a weird world these days. I’m pretty sure it way too late to make America great again. It’s officially a turd world crap hole now.

YES! Unless he begins to show signs of mental deterioration that BIDEN was showing over ten years ago!

It doesn’t matter because even if Trump gets elected in 2024, he would never do what needs to be done to save the nation from complete catastrophe e.g. declare martial law, suspend the Constitution, arrest thousands and deport millions, he’s just too nice of a guy. This country simply won’t be ‘fixed’ through the normal channels of voting, it’s too far gone.

“...especially when there are younger, capable Republicans available.”

I’d like a list...besides De Santis.

We talk about the Socialist Democrats having no one on their bench, but other than De Santis, who else do we have that isn’t a RINO and can take the gut-busting slander and denigration the Enemy Media will dish out?

The best senario from my perspective is for DJT to have Desantis run as his VP we could ad anoter eight years after Trump finishes his term. I know some Freeper Rinos won’t like it.
