NASA is looking to the heavens for help with assessing how humans will react if alien life is found on other planets and how the discovery could impact our ideas of gods and creation. The agency is hiring 24 theologians to take part in its program at the Center for Theological Inquiry (CTI) at Princeton University in New Jersey, which NASA gave a $1.1 million grant to in 2014.
CTI is described as building 'bridges of under understanding by convening theologians, scientists, scholars, and policymakers to think together - and inform public thinking - on global concerns.'

Don’t we have enough aliens on this planet? Why go looking elsewhere for more of ‘em.
Alex Jones reads the globalist’s white papers and the next phase of their great reset is an alien invasion hoax to terrorize the useful idiots.
Well, there is one God, so you can do away with this “gods” nonsense to begin with.
Well he damn sure didn’t do it just for our dumbasses.

I’m less afraid of any alien visitors than I am of the intentions of our own world leaders.
Fundamentally, God is a creator of life. Nothing changes if there is life out there. They were created. They are subject to the same sciences we are, even if they are more or less advanced than we.
I might be highly interested in them, but it is meh for me if they do exist.
Just got a deja vu eerily related to and regarding the movie Contact and Matthew McConaughey’s role/part.
Our reaction to aliens depends very heavily on what the aliens tell us about themselves. They may be God fearing but without a savior but they may have been told somehow years ago about our Savior and have been looking forward to meeting us for ages.
No matter what there will be a lot of mistrust toward them. At 91 I am going to stay right here on Earth. I’m too scraggly to eat anyways.
To cast doubt and confusion on the deity of God, our Savior and the Holy Spirit. This is nothing more than satan attempting to lure souls away from the creator.
Now they are new age quacks making up stuff even the smithsonian channel would air.
Good grief...Just leave us alone. These adventures of the imagination are just that until something happens. What is...is. What will be, will be.
Well anyone with an ounce of scientific knowledge would know that any civilization with interstellar space travel abilities would encounter very little trouble in overcoming Earth defenses. Therefor organizing the people to defend the planet would be an exercise in total futility.
Who knows.. Maybe they’ll all look like the girls on Queen of Outer Space
Um, don’t you think Angels are living creatures, albeit their spacetime realm is dimensional y greater than our 4D? I could save NASA a few million using the Bible alone!
Let’s say you’re God. The people you created have a world view that extends to the valley next door, which they’ve heard about but never visited. You’ve filled the entire universe with life, but these people don’t even know they live on a planet instead of a large flat rock. Are you going to say, “Yeah, I’ve created life all over the univer...uhm, I’ve created life in all the valley’s on this...uhm, this valley and the other valley.” *sigh*
I think theology would adjust to the new perception of reality.
Seriously. Ridiculous. The probability of life elsewhere has been easily eliminated. I know math is racist, but it it still true. There is no other life out there. There is a realm outside of our existence. It is His throne. The place He prepares for us.
