People who falsify their vaccination cards to bypass the passport system in the state of New York could face up to one year in jail, according to new legislation.
Signed into law on Wednesday by Gov. Kathy Hochul (D), the “Truth in Vaccination” law will make “faking a vaccination card a class A misdemeanor and tampering with computer records related to vaccinations a class E felony,” according to The Hill.

And for a whole lot more than printing some stupid useless card.
And NYS will be closing 6 prisons next spring...
This is getting to be a real knee slapper.
If NY keeps it up they will see some for-real exodus.

It’s already a federal level felony to forge or use a government instrument which includes the CDC vaccination card or record. It is a violation under Title 18 United States Code, Section 1017 which carries a 5 year sentence for each of the two violations one for forgery the other for the use of said forged instrument. Federal level felonies also automatically remove the right to vote at the federal level for life and the right to possess forearms or ammunition for life. The DOJ has already begun prosecuting forgery suspects as well as people distributing forged documents. The states under the tenth can and probably will pass laws similar too the existing USC code or use their existing forgery laws pertaining to state government documents.
I'm a big,big fan of jury nullification...in certain situations.
The real question is if someone is caught with a fake vaccine card and they flee to a free state like Florida, will a governor like DeSantis allowed them to be extradited, or will he give them asylum?
