A 39-year-old Utah man is now facing multiple charges after a college student who was missing for five days was found naked and covered in coal inside his home, reports say.
Brent Brown, of Loa, has been charged with aggravated kidnapping, rape, object rape and obstruction of justice following the discovery of a Snow College student on Saturday, according to Fox 13. He is now being held without bail.
The saga involving the student began on the night of Dec. 13, when she was last seen leaving her dorm building in Ephraim. The next day, her roommates reported her missing when she failed to return, according to the Salt Lake Tribune.
The newspaper, citing a probable cause affidavit, reported that the student met Brown in an online "chat group" and arranged to have him pick her up on Dec. 13 – but in the following days the relationship became nonconsensual and violent.
Brown allegedly tied the victim up while he was at work, got rid of her phone when he learned police were looking for her, and "threatened her, saying if she left or told anyone about him, he would come after her family and sister," the Salt Lake Tribune reported, citing the affidavit.
Court documents later stated that police used cellphone tower information to track down the victim at Brown’s home in Loa, about an hour and a half’s drive from where she had last been seen, the newspaper continued.
The student was found naked and covered with coal in a basement room after Brown – who answered the door at the home when police knocked – initially told officers that nobody else was inside, the affidavit added.

It sounds like it started out as consensual. Usually these people have an agreed upon code word for STOP, which he apparently disregarded. It became involuntary on her part at that point.

She met him on a slave fetish and bondage website and had him come pick her up. When asked if she was held against her will, the police said they are still investigating that. Apparently her phone was filled with raunchy fantasy texts, and when the cops knocked on the door they saw her run and hide.
It’s going to be interesting to see how this pans out.

This whole subculture is truly dicey and it is a spectrum of odd behavior.
Consenting to being dominated is a very bad idea. It’s also a very bad idea for someone to think they can dominate a young woman in this culture and get away with it...even if she does consent.
My advice is if a couple is into this then get married and then do your thing together. At least make it publicly clear that there’s a serious relationship involved.

5. My first thought when I saw her picture was “She doesnt even look legal.” Maybe a more thorough investigation would find evidence of other crimes. At the same time I knew something was wrong with her. I know that statement is going to make someone angry but everyone Ive ever known that looked like her had a certain type of issues. There may be a lot more to the truth of this story with both of them.
It appears Maddie Allen was on an S&M Bondage chat room and has had some mental problems. From part of an article I just read:

ABC4 reported that a search of Allen’s phone showed she used dating apps and her phone “contained conversations of a violent sexual nature.””
Note that Allen had on her phone “conversations of a violent sexual nature”. All is not as it appears here. Maddie didn’t try to escape. I think she was into this S&M relationship because she is screwed up. They are portraying the alleged Perp as a Trump supporting redneck type.
Be careful here folks, I think young Maddie had sexual fantasies issues and this could very well have been consensual role playing. I’m afraid she won’t tell the truth and her “partner” in S&M is going to get nailed for being in what he thought was a role playing game, and as a sexual predator when she could very well be intimately and voluntarily involved in this “relationship, and I use that word loosely.
They have not formally brought charges against this guy, and are looking further into what the situation really was. Again, I reiterate, there is more here that is being withheld from the public at this time.

This is looking less illegal than it first appeared, though he’s still probably guilty of abuse or some such.
