If NY does this, they better have a power supply ready to supplant gas. Nuclear power is the only way to meet the demands for clean energy.

Thanks to the wonders made possible by the silicon chip, big central urban commercial locations are no longer a necessity. They have become unlivable. This economically bizarre law will hasten the dismantling of these urban cesspools. Most decent, rational people unless forced already avoid these horrid places.
They are just changing the location of exhaust discharge form the building a generating plant somewhere. Electricity is less than 50% as efficient as natural gas.

I just mean that having electric heat and stove is used for a let half of all homes in the United States. I’ve always had it. My grandparents did have oil for heating and used to have to call and get it filled. They are just stopping a step in the process.
I think they should give it a try. The rest of us will look on and see how it goes.
Could be that large buildings don’t use much energy per occupant.
All this insanity will end when we’ve had enough.
