CNN host Don Lemon celebrated that the national average for gas prices was “easing up” — after it was revealed that the Biden administration reportedly had secret talks with media outlets to push for more positive coverage about its handling of the economy.
“Big economic relief for millions of Americans who have been dealing with soaring energy prices. The price at the pump is finally easing up,” he said on “Don Lemon Tonight” on Tuesday.
Lemon said that AAA data showed that the price per gallon was at $3.35 — the lowest since October — and noted that forecasts showed it could drop to $3.01 by January.

BFD: prices have come down maybe $0.10 in the last few weeks. Here in San Antonio, we are currently paying in the $2.67-$2.79 range; it was about $1.60 at the time of the election, so a mere $0.10 decrease is a joke.
His work, has screwed up the oil industry, and jacked up gas
prices. One more topic Lemon knows nothing about.

Didn’t Malone buy CNN a few weeks ago and indicate he was going to take it back to reporting news like the old days under Turner which would mean he would have to unload the entertainers like Lemon posing as reporters? It would seem to whole crew would have to go if he was really going to report news. I guess he has not yet taken control because they’re still around.
