The judge presiding over the custody case of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sean Parnell on Monday awarded primary custody of his three children to his estranged wife.
Laurie Snell and Parnell separated in 2018. They have three children, ages 12, 11 and 8. During her testimony on the first day of the Butler County custody trial on Nov. 1, Snell alleged that Parnell had physically abused both her and her children.
During his testimony the next week, Parnell denied he’d ever struck anyone in his family.
A court docket in the case showed Senior Judge James Arner awarded primary physical and sole legal custody to Snell, with partial physical custody to go to Parnell.

The Donald needs to find someone else.
Unless the wife/mother is an utter psycho, the kids almost always go to the mother after a breakup.
What’s new about that?
I think this happens in about 90% of divorce cases. There is no greater motive to slander a man than for additional child support and alimony.
If the judge thought there was anything to the claim charges would have been filed.
Parnell is a combat zone veteran who may be suffering from PTSD............why do you say “he may be suffering from PTSD?
Where do you get that? From the false accusation that the ex-wife made? I’m thinking that the same suburban housewife, married to the same suburban houseman can see through the BS and vote for who is right. I don’t think bringing up someone’s personal life, in this way, will play well with those very same suburban housewives. He was accused of some stuff. Proved the accuser wrong.
By this time next year, after CornPop has had another year of destroying this country, I don’t think many will care about this. They’ll be caring about $5 a gallon gas, pipelines cut off, insane prices for meat and milk.
And lets not forget about the amnesty for at least 6,000,000 or more and the millions more that will soon be pouring over our border to get that very same amnesty.
Seems to mean visitation rights to father. If battery was suspected I doubt this would have been granted.
Does PA grant minors wishes at a certain age?
Sorry, but many suburban women don't think properly. My wife is an intelligent voter, but even she admits that "the woman vote" is not always friendly to our side. I knew a guy whose wife refused to vote for G.W. Bush because she "couldn't stand his smirk".
I do understand that. Yes.
But I don’t think this guy not getting custody of his kids, which is the norm, even in some of the most insane circumstances, is going to be a factor. A little less than a year from now, there will be bigger problems for the suburban housewife to be dealing with.
My daughter at the tender age of 18 told me she thought giving the women the vote was a terrible idea based on the shallow type of conversations she had about politics with classmates.
It only gets a little better when they marry and have families.
*a year from now, there will be bigger problems for the suburban housewife to be dealing with.*
Don’t count on it having any effect on their vote.
*the woman vote” is not always friendly to our side* Ask Clarence Thomas. Every one that knew both Anita and Judge Thomas stood up for him. Truth doesn’t matter to these women. How many thought BJ cared more about them than that louse they married? The term ‘Soccer moms’ is all it took. Then there’s the Kenyan. His success was based on his ability to keep his pants on. BJ and The Swimmer is all you need to know why battered women keep coming back for more.
*It only gets a little better when they marry and have families.*
That means WE will have to marry them and guide them along to see things our way. Go ahead. After you.

Nice smear.
True about who the kids live with.
Did she just allege he assaulted them and did she file a police report?
That’s the problem with republicans. They jump ship at the first twitch
Usually the judge goes with the mother, rarely does the man win a custody battle, even if the evidence is overwhelming for the man.
I spanked my son once for running out in front of a moving car. I guess my ex-wife could have said “abuse” but she didn’t show up in court and I got custody.
I hope you are right. I’d love to vote for Sean Parnell. I’m just not sure 50% plus 1 of Pennsylvania voters will.
Well, you, me and the rest of the Conservatives in the country hope that 50+1 folks in Pennsylvania send him to the Senate. All going to hinge on how far they go rigging the vote and who comes out.
Of course, Philadelphia, both city & county, will have results totaling about 120% of the registered voters in the county and city. And they will all go to the Democrat. But who cares about that, right? /sarc
News sources now report that Parnell has suspended his campaign.
It happens so often that some cities with mandatory filing for DV have a standard offer on the table to enroll in anger management classes in exchange for an agreement not to file. Woman gets what she wants (everything except your freedom) and you get your freedom.
Not a horrible deal, and good for the cities where that is offered.
Ask me how I know that.
I’ll tell you this - the city prosecutor came out and told my wife she didn’t have sh!t. Nothing. But since CPS went and found ‘likely’, she had enough to rape me and she should be happy with it.
The way he sold it to her: “After all, you want him out there working like a slave for you, right?”
